    Prologue

Hmmm, well an interesting synopsis, will have to see where this goes.
  2. Tony seems to have few if any memory of this place that isn't happy, I wonder if that will continue. Almost sounds as if he has not been back since he left, could that be true? Going back is often hard to do, nothing really is the same, and you can find that even small changes have been magnified because of your memories. Can't wait to see where all of this goes.
  3. Too dry here in Texas for any of the flowers to have made an appearance yet, at least in my part of the state. Thanks for the update as always. Five of seven words here, had to look one up to make sure I was right though. Everyone have a great week, but let's skip the spring cleaning this year. LOL
  4. A few little clues, but will they lead anywhere? Wish we had found out a little more about Dust's brother. I just can't decide if I like Kellen or not.

    Chapter 34

Life with these two will never be boring, that is something of a guarantee. So off on the honeymoon, at least they got enough work done to be ahead some and can sit back and enjoy at least some of it. Can't wait to see how they handle the babies, I know they have the staff to help them, but I don't see either of them just turning over the raising of their children to anyone else fully. Sometimes doing the right thing is its own reward, and other times you truly get something back. Love it.

    Chapter 35

Lovely chapter, I can't wait to see what happens next. Orion gives of his time, and money, but most importantly, he gives of himself both to his husbands, friends, and family. Love that Jules continues to try and help those that find themselves at loose ends in that area, always has been an issue. Quinn is just as special; did anyone think he would come this far? Tanner and Ryan each have their own strengths and help with area they fit. And now four, count them, four houseboys? Amazing story.
  7. Not sure that I agree, while at the moment, the "designers" are probably more important in their world, or at least Lagerfeld is, but doubt that will be true in the future. Jeremy will end up in a position similar to the one Bellona occupies now and will always hold more sway than the designers and others in this business. On top of that, the magazine will probably be his at some point. Can't really see anyone else in the family wanting it, and Stef basically bought it to give Jeremy an entree into this world. Jeremy will be much richer than any of them, and that is if he does nothing else but inherit his portion of what is coming to him. While I don't think he will ever be the investor that Will is, don't think he cares about that, but with Kris by his side, I would suspect that his investment portfolio will grow as well. We know that Sebastian is super rich, and his father even richer, but will he ever have the money that Jeremy will have? On top of that, Sebastian doesn't seem to have a real connection to this world other than his social standing. Jeremy has his position as a US National Champion in a sport that is very fashion conscious and his being mentored by Bellona, that rates him several steps above Sebastion, and I honestly think already makes him as influential as any of the designers mentioned except Lagerfeld and probably Kors at this moment. I doubt that many lists would list either Kors or Posen in the as all-time greats, at least at the top 30 or so. Kors has stayed a little more innovative over the years and I think his stature may grow, but Posen, especially after he got the Brook Brothers position has turned rather safe and conventional and I think over time his stature will actually fall from where it is now, which I would suspect is barely in the top 25 or 30 US designers. And the fact is, that both need the support of someone in a position like Bellona is now and Jeremy will be in the future. While Kors and Posen are obviously talented, both got major boost from Anna Wintour in their early careers and both Sallie Singer and Smira Nasr have pushed both of them, Singer more for Kors while Nasr seemed to favor Posen. Unless you are at the very top of the fashion heap, who supports and pushes your vision matters as much or more than your talent.

    Chapter 33

Loved every moment of this chapter, and oh so special that Jessica got to play such a role. Marc finally got through to Adam, and I think they are both better for it. How smart, while everyone is trying to figure out where they went, they just went home. Love it.
  9. Well, I am glad that Kieran's dad is going to try, let's hope he works through this for his sake and theirs I am glad that the mother's actually talked about that, and I do think that Kieran is right, Charlie knowing might be really important to him. Those first few holidays after you lose someone is so hard...
  10. Already really do not like Kieran's father. Interesting start to the story, funny how some people just have to escape their hometown, and then for one reason or another, end up back there; while others just never seem to leave. Hate that Kieran had to find out about Charlie's mother like that, honestly a shitty thing for both his parents to do. Already love Tobes, he is a delight.
  11. Lovely chapter, and I am so glad that Bas and Matt were able to get along and actually seem to like each other. Glad that Bas and Graham remained friends after their little fling all those years ago. Bas seems to be the kind of guy that we all need in our lives at times. He will tell it like it is and damn everyone's feelings, but he does so because he truly cares. I wonder if they would violate the tenants of the will if they did use part of the house for something? Graham in the annex, and Vince and Teddy upstairs, but using part of the downstairs to showcase something. An interesting idea, one that might need to be visited again. Surprising depths from Matt, I do find that people that like vinyl truly have a better appreciation and understanding of music that those that stream or do the CD's, disc, or whatever. Oh, so Moggie allowed Bas to pet her, he is a good one then. Cats always know. And you know, Graham did sound a little jealous at that moment. LOL

    Chapter 34

I love that Orion has time for each of his husbands and makes sure that each of them feels that they are special and loved. He finds little ways and sometimes big ways to show that he cares for not just them but their families as well. Much like @drsawzall, I have to wonder what the deal is in Connecticut. Any student of oceanography or a like discipline will jump at working with these guys.
  13. Jeremy was brilliant. The costume idea was sublime and so original, of course, it was intellectual as all get out, most wouldn't have even gotten it, of course, Bellona did and obviously the judges. I wonder if when she slipped away if she did not have a little discussion with the judges, of course, the better Jeremy looks the better she looks as his "mentor". Jeremy handled everyone except Kenji perfectly, but I agree with @PrivateTim, he would have been more effective just ignoring him. Now he pissed of both him and Patrick, that is going to annoy Will. Kris really does try and support Jeremy and build him up, and Jeremy does the same to him. I really could see them as a New York power couple of major significance in about five or ten years. Travis has suffered so much. What his father did to him is truly heinous. But it is really worrisome that he buried it so deep that until another traumatic even occurred, he did not even seemingly remember it. The new trauma uncovered it; but Will is right, he cannot bury it, only by exposing it to the light of day can he deal with it and heal. Of course, it must be at his own pace, but hopefully this will be the start of him coming to terms with it and facing it. I do believe that a professional would be the best way to help him, but only he can ask for that help. Will is going to turn the full fury of the family on this idiot director. He will be lucky to survive. Bravo, @Mark Arbour, simply amazing.
  14. Excited to have this back, can't wait to see where you go with this one.
  15. A delightful little story and love how this ended, and we got a glimpse of how this group moved on but stayed friends, I really do believe sometimes that the best friends are those that you have when you are a teen and then are able to stay friends with, but that is a lot of work at times.

    Chapter 33

Orion truly loves and cares for all of them. There isn't much that he can't accomplish when he sets his mind to it. Love how open he was with Jules's parents, but then Orion is open with all. Jules cares deeply and has needed someone like Orion to lean on for a while, I am glad that he found him. I so love this series.
  17. Differences to be celebrated. Introspective Value everybody equally. Embrace variety instead of denying it. Revel in individual uniqueness. Respect our differences Seek new perspectives. I T Y
  18. Well, I definitely do not trust Deidre when it comes to Jasper, but it would be odd for him to just be following Toby unless she put him up to it. Otherwise, it just sounds way to creepy. Russ to the rescue on two fronts, first making sure everything with Jasper trailing Toby is on the up and up; and then the cottage in the middle of nowhere, what more could you want to get a way for a few days, and it isn't costing anything. I could see something happening to Jasper if anything were to happen to Toby, and they might not ever find the body. Love this one so much.
  19. Oh, our friend from the last story, yea...
  20. I have added this to my must read instead of my want to read list.
  21. I wonder if their magic intertwined so harmoniously if being with Dust might actually help Kellen get some of his abilities back? How exactly did Kellen lose his abilities? This attack, and I do think it was one, even if perhaps a test one for something much longer; has affected so many different people in so many different ways? Some older, some younger, without any rhyme or reason to it. Sounds like Dust is going to have to find a doctor for the lawyer or a new lawyer for his brother. Sometimes it is really the worst luck to be the responsible one in a family, everyone just expects you to handle things. Can't wait to see what happens next.
  22. So, Uncle Asshat is on the way out... Couldn't happen soon enough for anyone involved. Glad he never had access to any of Domenico's money would have probably used it for the girlfriend. Thanksgiving sounded delightful, and way too much food, but of course, that and family is what it is all about. I thought that Jake and Domenico, but mostly Jake, handled the younger cousins' questions really well. Plus, glad he emphasized that if they thought something was really wrong, it was more important to get help that worry about it from their parents.
  23. Not sure that I would trust Blaise to do anything, I have not found him to be forthcoming, honest, or fair...
  24. As always thanks for the round up. This group confuses me at times, I know it comes from the tags the authors themselves attach to their stories, but I sort of wonder about some of them from time to time. While some can have comedic tones at time, some are over all quite somber.
  25. Not sure that I would call any of this selling out. Graham has to broaden his audience and there are many ways to do that. The more people that read his other works, the more they might buy his poetry. Glad that Graham has another potential friend in Simon, and if the wife is as nice, good on. I know I said before, but greeting cards and such are big business, if he got a few of those to be successful, that would do a lot to help with giving him some additional breathing room. I can just see Nathan on the back of a motorcycle with Mike driving tearing around the Essex countryside. Loved this one, maybe Graham could win the Griffin Prize, I think the last couple of years that has been worth about 70,000.00 pounds or so. Would go a long way to helping Graham be a little more independent.
