Let's hope for triplets from the first birth, that would put them a leg up on heading toward 8 kids, 10 seems like it might be overdoing it. LOL Can't wait to see if the meeting tomorrow goes like Marc suspects, and if the alternate Marc and Adam can pull it off. Marc and Adam are truly one, and Marc is doing what he can to show him. Taylor and Mike had nothing to worry about, Adam knows fully who his monster is.

‘Cásate conmigo’ (Marry Me)
centexhairysub commented on Mark Ponyboy Peters's story chapter in ‘Cásate conmigo’ (Marry Me)
Grayson surprised Raffa and seems to have everything moving forward. A party that will turn into a Surprise Wedding, love it, and so romantic. Not sure that the mother's will be happy not being able to do more once they find out, but que sera sera. I do hope Mike shows up. -
So excited to see what everyone comes up with...

Marc is enjoying this way too much. Will Adam need a rescue before Marc had planned to appear? How delicious from start to finish.

I would put nothing past Deidre, she might not want Toby around full time, but I don't think she would object to the child maintenance being reinstated. I would not put it past her to try and have Jasper spy on Toby and try and catch something that they could use against them all. Wish that they had caught a picture of two of him following Toby, something photographic to take to the police, as I do think that would be a great idea. Maybe make it seem like he is obsessed with Toby and a danger to him. How far off is it until they are both sixteen? I do think that Marina and Val will be an issue at some point. I am glad that they all have Denise, Evie, and Drew around to support them, well and Russ, I think he would be a big help at some point with some issues. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Oh, so much going on and so man little tidbits to digest. Emmet and Finley are definitely making progress, and about damn time. Stephen has thrown a little wrench in the group's expectations. Can't wait to meet Amaya and see what is happening with that. And you will be posting a new chapter twice a week, right, @Celian

Marc handled all of that perfectly. Amelia and the rest will have to learn this lesson, I have a feeling that it being taught a second time is out of the question. Can't wait for Marc to get to Adam via the backdoor, pun intended. Really, whoever heard of the honeymoon before the ceremony, do they not know how this works? Oh, another bonding between an Alexander and Knight, maybe not quite the same amount of splash, but it will keep some newsies busy. Love it.

Let's hope that Rod finds a way to accept his friends and realize his father's way of thinking was just wrong on so many levels. Let's hope that Rod's Mom has a really good divorce attorney and takes idiot to the cleaners, then maybe give Domenico's aunt the name of the attorney. Domenico's incident the day he found Rod really does bother me, he definitely needs to discuss this with his therapist, and if he doesn't someone else needs to say something. Glad that Domenico finally met the older brothers, and they are both suitable impressed with his actions. If Uncle Ahole doesn't want him at Thanksgiving, it does sound like he will have a place to go.

Nuestro primer año (Our first year)
centexhairysub commented on Mark Ponyboy Peters's story chapter in Nuestro primer año (Our first year)
Thank you @Mark Ponyboy Peters for this amazing chapter. I am so thankful that Raffa was able to recover feelings in his leg. Even with the rehab and other obstacles, which truly are unimaginable if you or someone you love hasn't gone through them, Raffa and Grayson managed to stay together. Something like this can tear strong people apart. This couple has so many wonderful and extraordinary people in their lives. They are truly blessed. I do hate that Mike just disappeared, his guilt may have driven him away, but I hope he knew how important he was to Grayson and others. Animal ended up just where he deserved, but not with nearly enough years to that sentence. Can't wait to see what happens next... -
This group of extraordinary individuals have received what may be the ultimate gift a vampire can be given, the ability to walk in the sun. Even if this was the only one, they received, this would be worth the dangers they faced. However, I have to wonder what else the Grimoire will lead them to. I am glad that they offered Remy the opportunity to join the family, and that he decided to take them up on it. I kept worrying that something would happen to mar this gift, but that might just be my inborn pessimistic outlook, LOL.

A genre that I certainly enjoy but find that it can be hard to find stories in that I enjoy. I will have to check a few of these out, but I do think it is time for @Headstall to revisit some old friends...

Thank all that is holy that Marc has had Mike and Taylor. I love how much they both love and care for him. Marc is closer to being ready to deal with Adam, and like Marc, not sure that it was appropriate to deal with Amelia and Brendan before making his peace with Adam. We will see how this works out. Marc is developing his own private fiefdom and arranging things to help him not have to go through what he did before. March is coming to terms with the deaths, I think we all forget how young he is, I understand that everyone is more advanced at the time this story takes place, but Marc is young and what he went through was traumatic on so many levels. Often, only someone else that has gone through the same thing can really understand what you are dealing with, hence his Marines having such a place of honor here. Can't wait for this dinner party, sounds like shades of a dinner or two at Escorial in one of @Mark Arbour CAP stories. Oh, devilishly delightful for all of us to enjoy.

March CSR Feature: In His Image by ChromedOutCortex

Well, this descriptive summary certainly makes the story sound more than a little intriguing. -
Curry & confidences
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Curry & confidences
I don't know that I found Graham's comments particularly bitchy, but I can see where someone like Matt that has the history that he does, might have found them off-putting. That said, I am glad that Graham took the initiative to follow him and smooth things over with him. They both need a friend and even if this doesn't move past that point, a friendship between the two of them is important to each of them. Glad that Simon mentioned the wife, for a second there, I had a premonition of a quid pro quo type situation. Maybe Graham and Simon could be friends, but sort of think they will stick to being work acquaintances. I do hope that Graham really takes this seriously. The writers of greeting cards can do very well, money wise, it is a rather lucrative market and something local and exclusive such as this set up might be, could prove doubly so. Thanks for this delicious chapter, can't wait to see what happens next. -
Thursday, February 27, 2025 (II)
centexhairysub commented on Celian's story chapter in Thursday, February 27, 2025 (II)
Kellen may well be an ass, that is still up in the air, but he is smart. The cellar could be quite extensive, and extra tunnels if for nothing else coal or more storage would not be unusual when attached to a train depot or yard. Sometimes the easiest answer is often the right one, but on something like this I would doubt it. If the pub owner is Native American, I would be shocked about the anti-magic bit, in general Native American culture usually revered Medicine People and their abilities. I guess nothing is written in stone but would be a bit strange. -
Well, we know that Raffa is fully functional below the waist in certain areas, let's just hope the rest of him catches up soon. So glad that Grayson's dad is seeing a therapist, he needs to fully come to terms with what happened when he was younger. Glad it was only the nurse that walked in a realized what was happening and walked out, Leandro might have gotten a kick out of it, but not sure Raffa's parents are ready to see that much of what the boys are getting up to. Loved this chapter from start to finish. Glad they are talking about their future, no one really knows what the future will bring, but at least they are looking at it together and with eyes wide open.

The battles and death we can hope are over; but now comes the recovery both personal and for the sectors involved. Those that survived now have to recover and deal with the fact they survived and deal with some guilt. Marc is numb and can't say that I truly blame him. He has to take time to absorb what happened and come to terms with his actions and his decisions, never an easy thing to do. Adam has to follow directions, which should be an easy thing to do, but he too has to come to terms with his actions and how they lead to some of this. The family and the corporation has grown beyond measure thanks to Marc and his actions, but at what cost to him and those that love him. How much has this cost them all. Peace can be its own reward but sounds like everyone wanted a cut of the reward for this one. Looking forward to what comes next.

Dinner with Rod and Continued Improvement
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Dinner with Rod and Continued Improvement
Well, no matter what he believes or has done, I think we can all hope that Rod can survive this latest idiocy. Like @drsawzall, his parents, specifically it seems his father is to blame for a lot of this thinking and actions. I also sense that there may have been some abuse there as well. As far as the booze, hate to break it to you all, but not hard to get at all in a school like this. Always someone to supply it, if you can afford to pay for it. Plus, he could have easily brought some or all of it with him, depending on who packed most of his stuff. Domenico is doing better, and really good that he was worried about Rod. Can't wait to see what happens next, I am sure Rod's father will blame everyone but himself... -
Why do I get the feeling that everyone is going to regret Mistress Therese and Ellen going out of town for so long. The question is will they be called back by the actions of Claire especially and to a lesser extent Sarah. I do think that Keira was right, Marc was jealous but can't decide of who. Maybe Claires fascination will be with poisonous snakes, and one will bite her, and she will die a slow and agonizing death... Well, we can all hope.

Can't really believe the pirates in this sector thought coming in the backdoor would be a smart move, did they think they would catch an Alexander sleeping? I think not. Each loss matters to Marc, and that is what makes him a truly great leader. He can and will compartmentalize while he has to and mourn when he has the chance. The corporation may well come out of this with more support than anyone could have imaged when they started. So glad that Marc has so many that truly care for him.

Let's hope that Grayson grabs that toe one day and Raffa just reacts without even realizing it. Well, Raffa is certainly getting better if his mind is going in that direction. Love that Raffa's parents are so open, not just with him but with Grayson as well. Olly got a shock, but Grayson took the time afterward to apologize for yelling and explain not only what he was doing, but what Olly has to look forward to I would suspect in the near future. Ten can prove to be old enough for some.

What a delicious chapter from start to finish, although I suspect the ending maybe a prelude to some significant drama ahead. I don't think that Val and Marina are quite ready for the idea of their teenage son actually having gay sex. As @pvtguy intimated, it is one thing to be liberal and accepting in the general sense, but another when it involves your own offspring. That said, are they ready for the hell that Noah will unleash if they try and keep him and Toby apart? The birthday celebration seems to be coming along nicely, or at least the planning is. I am glad that Toby likes being organized and neat, at least in some things, sign of someone that will do well ahead. Russ entertains even when he just serves coffee and deserts. Can't wait to see what is coming.

Remy is being drawn into this unique and powerful family. Let's hope he is truly worthy of the honor being done to him. Find it truly refreshing that they only removed the tome from the first crypt, the material wealth and the artifacts of power while interesting were not as important as the quest for knowledge.

This is one of the biggest issues that I have with this story in this magnificent saga. I truly have not been able to figure out why no one in the family, full of smart people, seem to realize how shattered Jeremy was when he found out about his parentage. So much of his identity was tied up in who he was and his relationship to his family; and that was just all yanked away from him in the blink of an eye. I am not saying that what he said was okay, but almost everyone seems to act as if Jeremy's statements just came out of thin air and as if nothing prompted his reactions. There is an idea that somehow what he said was in a vacuum and nothing occurred before or afterwards mattered but what he said. For some of the supposedly smartest people in business, scholastics, and well just life, they all have seemingly missed a huge portion of the equation at least to me.

Well, let's start at the bottom, so to speak. LOL Love Will's speech to Thor's family, it is what we all want to say at some point while discussing our lives or someone close to us; just written so much better than what we could ever come up with. Loved Nils, and that little brother jab, but of course, he was the first one to step up and support his brother. Glad how well Ingrid and Lars reacted as well, and Lars also just had the perfect thing to say to make me want to cry. Isn't it just like Stef and JP to bring Fab's mother over from France? And then Matt and Wade immediately opened their home up to not only her but Scotty's family as well. Noblesse Oblige lives in this family and is truly something they live by. Was certainly hoping to get Stef into the economics class, can't wait to see how the professor reacts. Claire is totally wrong, but as long as she is convinced that she is right, nothing will change. While Jeremy has to continue to work this out with the family, I do wish they would on some level acknowledge how upset he was finding out about his parentage as well. I am surprised that Will was so shocked that Jeremy wanted him around at the next outing. He stood up for Jeremy when DoorGate occurred and Jeremy is just so vulnerable right now mentally, he will want all the support he can get. I do think that the Foundation will do something to help the artist out, and not just for public relations sake. Jeremy more than most knows what it is like to suffer for your talent and what you have to give up and how much a break can mean. Don't get me wrong, for Jeremy it is probably a 60/40 split between public relations move and really wanting to help the artist, and let's get real, the 60 % is about him but the rest isn't bad either. As always, the perfect way to end a stressful week, a joyous look into some truly fascinating lives... Thank you as always, @Mark Arbour
