    Loved getting this latest installment of this captivating story! I appreciate how torn and distraught Josh feels about his split identity and enforced amnesia. The comfort of the Kincaid siblings is telling and Greg is a stand up guy!

    Marie had to be there alone when her dad died and bore the full blunt force of his passing. Will's attempt to get her to see things from her mother's perspective was probably less than effective in the moment, but may be productive in the long run. The current book is already at 84 chapters, I suspect the second semester to go much faster.

    ...and things were going swimingly until the last line. I loved how the brothers are progressing and building relationships and that Jordan and Cam are enjoying being parental units.

    Isidore showed no class and Jeremy showed her up and the rest followed. Poor Jack, karma is a bitch. I agree with Will and my money would be on Marie as well. Jessica seems nice enough, but will John ever really accept her? Still worried about the Serbian mob and Buck's lawyers.... Never a dull moment at Escorial! More please!

    Jeremy is making progress. Travis is going to be based on the left coast more than 5 hours from Will. The Serbian mob is in flux and its tentacles are wide spread with a possible takeover in the works. Fellowes is a snake, possibly a seven headed hydra, and for all his apparent past ineptness should not be discounted. The crooked law firm employed by Curtis Buck needs to be investigated more thoroughly. Jack is a wild card and hopefully has not been ensnared by the hydra... P.S. Anxiously awaiting the next installment!

    Daddydavek reviewed Mark Arbour's story in Fiction

    I started reading this story 13 years ago. It was posted over the next two years and it was an adventure that truly reflected its title. I've randomly delved into some of the chapters over the years, especially chapter 60 and the demise of Bacchante. George's personal growth and maturity was tested in this book and time after time he was confronted with impossible situations. Mark has said this was his favorite of the Bridgemont series and it's also mine. Even if you started later in the series, I recommend you read this one to get insight into George.

    Miranda really is a piece. Taylor and Big are products of seriously sick parents. The law firm needs to disappear along with the safe. Perhaps a natural gas explosion when the partners are having a late night meeting.....

    Travis loves how he decorated his Tribeca home, and JJ did spend his younger years at the connected Malibu beach houses as I recall, so I can't see it as too much of a stretch for him.
