What is it about Cali boys and surf that always seems to mellow them out? I suppose it's the good vibrations of the pounding surf, but it sure seems to have an effect as it is Will and Brad's and now Travis' go to for stress relief in a way that sex is not. Looks like shopping for some wheels is in Will's future....still hoping for a jaunt to Hawaii!

Winter Olympics never grabbed my attention like the summer games with guys in speedos and the gymnastics...I admit it, eye candy has always had a special appeal for me...

It's obvious this realm is a lot less advanced in their utilization of power and the lessons they been given so far have failed to impress upon them just how inferior their understanding really is. Perhaps the council can be a demonstration and an education to all the lords of this realm and show them how to constrain unwarranted abuse of power, e.g. the orcas....

Perhaps as I've gotten older (ancient) I've realized that the meaning of words is shaped by our experiences and what was once clearly black or white now has shades of gray and nuances I failed to appreciate. I know of several men who are deeply committed to their spouses and in loving relationships, but "fooled around". In my younger self I was appalled by the lack of honesty. Now I realize I was just being judgmental about something that wasn't really my right...

Surfing helped, but when push came to shove, Travis's pledge was insincere and Will is resigned to the fact that he may lose Travis. Interesting that he said to JP that perhaps he should go back to LA and talk to Travis. Bastille Day may be quite a spectacle... More please! Perhaps a quick trip to Hawaii?

Happily, the extra song from the orcas on earth was sufficient and the heart stone has is fully functional. Still the usurper needs to be dealt with and the heart stone protected from any attempt for misuse... Looking forward to the next installment.

I'm hoping the lightning bolts don't defeat the wards....The usurper needs to learn a lesson in humility,once they have figured out the heart stone and healed and shielded it completely from malicious interference.

It's been bitter cold and I've gotten about 8 inches of snow with some areas not very far getting a full foot of snow. The expected low overnight is -4F with wind chill of -20 to -25F. At half past noon its 11F with a wind chill of -4F. The normal low temp for us on January 25 is 22F. ,
