A wonderful weekend and a very nice gift of another chapter! Thanks and Merry Christmas to all, and to all good night!

The esoteric title grabbed them!

I also don't see Claire letting Josh go through a reenactment of the crash....

Since I recently read adolescence lasts until about age thirty I try to be less judgemental about young people making decisions based on relative maturity which has many facets which do not develop in a uniform manner. Intelligence is a separate quality and one in which Will is not deficient. Will has broken a few hearts and I expect his to be broken a few more time too. In the long run, I don't see Zach and Will getting back together. Travis is different and I can see Mark salvaging their relationship but not before it is broken....

Lots more for me to browse....

The story revolves around the family as Will and Marie start their freshman year through the first semester. There is tragedy involving Marie's father Jack. There is a kidnapping and a run in with the mob. There are some memorable Escorial dinners. There is an awesome vacation to Maui with surfing. And Jeremy matures into being less of a bratty princess. All masterfully woven into a wonderfully entertaining tale. I heartily recommend this story

"and Carlo showed me that he could be spectacular too." Well that's encouraging after Will's last review. I'm guessing Travis won't be able to join them for the weekend, or at least all of it. Kendo and Will's fears about Travis seem to be on an arc away from Will. More please!

I've started this chapter three times and get to the part where Daniel has a flashback after finding out Josh is part of a family and my heart breaks and I can't go on....
-
Carlo is interesting. But not an accomplished lover, like Will is used to having. Fab and Marie, hot! More please!

Dogs are warmer, easier to train, less judgemental, but may be better hung....

Thanks for another fantastic story in the saga! While the Ortegas are down and out for the present, Mark has a long memory and I wouldn't be surprised to see them emerge as a foil in some later episode. Travis has his insecurities and Will continues to think he has the answers. These mindsets going into the next book presage relationship difficulties. I'm trying to keep in mind that Mark does like happy endings, but that is not always the case... On to the next book!

How appropriate for giving Tuesday! -
I quit buying for the nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews several years ago. I just buy for my grandkids and my daughter and her husband. And yes I did some small shopping on Friday and plan to look some more tomorrow. The weather here has been frightful for November with heavy wet snow yesterday and cold with temps running 10 to 15 degrees below averages.

Just got back from a feast at my daughter's house. She had 14 people counting 4 nieces and nephews under age 4. She served turkey and ham both done on the grill by my son-in-law as well as mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, mac & cheese, party potato casserole, fruit salad, crescent rolls and 4 kinds of pie, including pumpkin, chocolate silk, apple and cherry with whipped cream.

Sounds like things are being taken care of regarding the mob, but I still can't help wondering about the fate of Fellowes et al. On this rather chilly Thanksgiving day, Hawaii sounds absolutely delightful! Happy Thanksgiving! And I still can't wait for more!

George turned a troubling situation into one in which he was able to get what he wanted along with helping promote his friends. I suspect the government realizes there is a cost to doing business with Brentwood! Another great chapter! Happy Thanksgiving Mark and now on to your other great saga!

THE NEXT CAP BOOK: TRAVISTY
Daddydavek replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
I hate to see the current book is ending. I am not looking forward to the downward slide of Travis and the impact that has on Will and the family. This "Kendo" sounds like a piece of excrement... Too bad that life really sucks so much of the time. -
Clay was in a drought and it's over...at least for now.
-
At least Josh got to be awake for the escape....the recovery will probably be as painful or worse than from the car wreck. Being the host of a Marvel type character, albeit surreptitiously, certainly has its cost.

A tangled web with the elegant appearing crone mucking it up and perhaps in cahoots with the kidnappers...

My family does Turkey for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We had a goose for one Christmas but it did not go over as well. For Easter we usually have ham.

I sincerely hope the FBI is able to use the info to find the connections to the five who were not implicated in the data on the thumb drive. Perhaps Fellowes will try to get the incriminating info on Big to someone else and that will be intercepted by the authorities. Somehow, I can't imagine it will all go away with the prosecution of Fellowes and the people Petrovic implicated. Loved the fact everyone is impressed with Will's Hawaiian estate despite the beginning of construction of the Villas! It does seem the main house does need an office/library where family meetings could be held in private.

I've been reading Mark's stories for years, both here on GA and before that on his Yahoo group which has long since folded and they have given me countless hours of reading enjoyment over the approximately 20 years I've been reading his output which I continue to find: AMAZING!
