I've not liked Tony for a long time as he has several issues that he hasn't even identified. I think his shrink was right and he should have stayed away from Will. Will took it wrong. It wasn't the shrink thinking Will couldn't handle it; it was the shrink worried that Tony would think everything was fixed if they made up when Tony hasn't even dealt with half of his issues. Sorting him out is more than a project and I suspect there could be some sick, nasty turns in the future. Arbour is a master at setting up these things and I suspect that Will gets burned again.

What a great remembrance! Ten years is a milestone especially for an internet site and it's neat to hear some of its history.

Interesting chapter and I see Mr. Arbour is making the case for Tony. Perhaps Will will get lucky and Tony will discover the love of his life being slutty while Will is in Hawaii? The thing is, they are all still caught up in the immediacy of their grief which overpowers them at times as is to be expected. I especially feel for Brad. Even having to think of Neil at a time like this is poisonous but it couldn't be helped. Another very interesting chapter. And now can go to Hawaii. The thought is so tantalizing especially as it is snowing tonight in Missouri.....

Interesting background at the AWA of which I have no familiarity so I enjoyed the descriptions. Mikeal seems a bit of a novice at many things. Being just high enough and telling Adam "I lub you" was too cute. And as Adam wasn't drunk and realized Mikeal was, I don't blame him for not taking that declaration too seriously or responding....

First off, loved the part with Granger stressing over Eastwyck after the pucker stroke and the positive outcome. George is always a little obsessive. The funeral for Robey was a backdrop to Caroline's meeting with Calvert and Gatling. Another of George's former crew is lost. That it afforded Caroline the opportunity to share the good news from the bankers was welcomed. That they also were able to clarify their feelings and get past their past misunderstandings was a real boon. I still think this book in the Granger saga could be over in as few as 5-6 chapters and that makes me sad.

Well the banks came through and finally Caroline has some news which she was able to share with Calvert and Gatling as well as giving them a chance to clear up some misunderstandings. Now, I wonder if Calvert will be able to convince George's man as he spends the night at Portland place.

Louganis was outed on American TV in 1988 during the Olympics although he was out to everyone who knew him before that. The ice dancers have also had openly gay participants for years too. Someday this stuff will not be considered newsworthy.

What a wonderful idea to get this going now! My resolutions for this past year were largely lost in the rush of events. I didn't finish any of the stories I started. I didn't lose any weight. I didn't keep up with my exercise routine. However, I did spend more time with mom. I did spend more quality time with my granddaughter. I didn't lose my temper as often. I guess I will keep the same resolutions for next year and try to do better. I am a work in progress....

My problem with Tony is that I just don't like him or his mom. While he may push all the right buttons for Will sexually, he is no where near his class as a person who cares about people and never will be IMHO. I think others have already stated that Will needs someone who engages him intellectually, socially, and physically. Will is always going to be a challenge and he really needs an equal to provide him some balance. Kitt pointed out that labeling Zach a sociopath based on the evidence to date would be a reach and I certainly agree with that. In my mind, the car was the vehicle Mark used to have the successor guardianship changed and way too much has been made of it....

I did not expect Will to hook up with Tony other than perhaps a mercy fuck.... Arbour still surprises. Actually there were a few. Kai has a new boyfriend; Gathan gave up the trusteeship; Zach figuring out he needed to call home. Two Thumbs Up!

For most young men it's hard to believe that life can be so fragile as youth tends to think of themselves as immortal. So I understand your shock and depth of feeling as well as your sense that his loss would be such a waste of talent. I'd like to state such things are rare, but it happens. Nearly everyone loses someone before their time. Hopefully, your friend will be an exception and pull through. Take it as a lesson though, live life to the fullest that you can, because tomorrow is not promised for any of us....

Kitt's post got me curious. It seems in May 2001 NJ updated it's driving rules..... The info below copied from: http://www.nj.gov/faqs/drive/index.html What is the driving age in NJ? In 2001, New Jersey joined 23 other states and several Canadian provinces in implementing a multi-stage driver licensing system. The new system introduces driving privileges gradually to first-time drivers and applicants under 21 years, extends their practice driving time, and raises the unrestricted basic driver license age from 17 to 18 years.

The interesting thing to all this is that Will has given the car to Zach and now that he has it, I don't think it will be taken away unless he screws up which as a kid he may do. But if he doesn't and acts responsibly, then it is a win for him. I mentioned before that I think from the clues Mark has dropped that Zach has made a conscious decision to be better and to do better. I wish him success.

If the car is the problem and Will caused it, then I guess that Brad and Gathan will just have to deal with it as I seriously doubt Will will take it back. I'm sure he will bring up the fact that he has a gifted a car previously. That he walked out on them without giving them a chance to vent was the right thing to do. What I am looking forward to Hawaii and the surfing.
