Chapter 30 - All Hands on Deck
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 30 - All Hands on Deck
Last we heard, Noah didn't want to go home and deal with mama. This chapter moves on with the rest of the crew, but Noah seems forgotten. While I'm glad everyone else seems good, poor Noah is left in the clutches of the vindictive ex!- 26 comments

At last! I can't wait for the rehearsals and filming to start!

It's the only online community I follow. I don't do Facebook, Tiktok, X, or any other social media sites. I do have subscriptions to the WAPO and NYT and check out NBC News. GA has some great stories with readers who provide some thoughtful comments (and some quite inane ones as well...). It's where I look forward to getting my George Granger fix as well as the latest in the CAP series. I will read a story but it may not keep my interest if it is too full of teenage angst which is trite. The site has lost some great members over the years including Comsie, Carlos Hazday, ComicFan, and Old Bob among others... After sampling and reading on site for more than fifteen years, it is like an old comfortable hoodie.

You reneged on your promise..."So, Juanita is one very cool chick, right? How will Hector's audition go? We'll find out in Chapter 12!"

I'm guessing Hector nails the audition and his pocket rocket gets rave reviews....

Guys always fantasize and it's not solely about the one who captured your heart...

Weekly Wrap Up (Sept. 6 - Sept. 12)
Daddydavek commented on wildone's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I got my first basic cell phone in 2006 when I retired. It could do texts and take crappy photos. The first smart phone was a Samsung Galaxy S 3 which I had several years. I upgraded about every four years and my current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S23. -
It looks like more than Ricky is being cast. I'm hoping that Hector and Juanita decide it's a good career move...

Another memorable dinner at Escorial with plenty explained and perhaps more learned.... A medically supervised withdrawal on a cruise sounds like a good idea, insulated from the media and press, perhaps Travis' image can be maintained.... Kendo is a problem that could be easily solved per @PrivateTim's suggestion. I'm still thinking that Will may re-think his choice of college this summer and I'm hoping with good reason....

Brant wants to get Sky's buy-in for casting Hector which is now a foregone conclusion unless our devious author throws a monkey wrench into the plot.
-
The three amigos of the night watch are hot. I wonder if Juanita knows Hector is bi?
-
...and we see how well that worked out!

Not even close to what I was expecting! Mark you have surprised me yet again! First I'm surprised the family couldn't track Will with his phone.... Next I'm surprised Travis is still functioning. I'm really surprised he handled Jake and Brad. I'm wondering if Will's soul searching leads him to transfer to Stanford or another school in California...

The sequel is about to be leaked, making it a bit more real. Christmas should be a hoot.

Brant took some persuading. It looks to me that you are setting up Hector to be the third, but will Juanita be on board? Can Hector's macho ego be accommodated? If Sky's relatives feel free to "tease" him now, this may be a bridge too far... There are so many ways you can go with this including the demise of Bransky...
-
I'm still hooked on these characters!

Wondering how Will's drug experiment went with Jeff.... The perfidy of Kendo sort of seals his fate. I suspect that if Will doesn't handle it, Jake will and it hopefully it occurs offstage as explicit gore is such a turnoff. Travis is a victim but also an adult who walked into the trap with his eyes open. That he chose street drugs instead of going to a psychiatrist for help is all on him. Will has a history of being a loose cannon as a teenager. But he is an adult now and can't afford to fuck-up his own life. Maybe he will realize that or someone gets through to him... I expect an interesting Labor Day. 🤞

Chapter 29 - Two Parties
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 29 - Two Parties
The pedo pastor is about to be exposed. The young couple who escaped from Adelaide see better times. The company employees are assured they are not part of the police investigation. Hopefully, the police don't drop the ball. The informal birthday party went well despite the surprise cake. The "ex's" surprise came to naught. Noah made an appearance and ends up spending the night. Mild turbulence at most, successfully navigated.- 27 comments

Will is angry and has every right to be, but it does screw with his judgment. I suspect this is not going to end well for anybody, unless Brad, Stef or Grand step in and intervene...

Chapter 28 - Can you keep a secret?
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 28 - Can you keep a secret?
I like Nathan's idea of a bolt hole for times when they want to get away by themselves.... -
The best news is that the brothers are actually talking. The better news is that Neil can talk about it to Alex. The good news is that they may have a peaceful Christmas....
