Chapter 10 – Moving has its Moments
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 10 – Moving has its Moments
Natasha isn't as bad as I feared, but still a piece of work. Martin kept her distracted while Noah helped his brother load the car. The revelation about support and allowance was also hopefully heard by Noah and if so, should become another discussion. Martin revealed the actual relationship to his son concerning their soon to be new neighbors and of his relatives in England. Benjamin's move is complete and Justin overheard Martin on the phone with Nathan as he came in from work...and is putting the dots together. Eagerly anticipating the next chapter! -
That's the best cover of The Sounds of Silence that I've heard or seen in more than 50 years!

Thanks for this latest chapter! Jeremy has paid attention to his therapist and realizes he needs the support. Will has never competed professionally and I don't fault him for failing to understand that Jeremy views everything as a competition. Will is a magnet, son and grandson of magnates, so he will always face some level of celebrity. Hopefully, the interviews will lessen the intense scrutiny of the paparazzi but a compromising pic will always sell and bring renewed scrutiny, so continued caution is necessary. Austin is falling hard despite trying manfully not to.... If he hooks=up with Will, it could become a problem for Travis...as well as Troy and if the press gets a pic.... As someone mentioned in a comment it's possibly the calm before the storm. More please!

The old queens speculated about services rendered and of course sex was mentioned. The fate of the artefact was secured. Ian is the character with the most growth. Martin is someone who seems to collect an assortment of oddly interesting blokes. Looking forward to the finale!

Wasn't it Brad whom you said you most identified with??

Dinner with Pericles & PJ
Daddydavek commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Dinner with Pericles & PJ
I got a kick out of the his and his sheds! And Charlie broached the idea about dick pics and Joss wants a full nude of PJ! -
Straight to the Morning, Part Three of Three
Daddydavek commented on Boy Mercury X's story chapter in Straight to the Morning, Part Three of Three
Avery's collision seems inevitable in hindsight. Luckily only metal was really damaged. However, it seems the consummate consultant would have found a better off ramp.... -
I could easily fantasize over each of the men...or all together!

Chapter 9 – Is Stalking OK
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 9 – Is Stalking OK
I trust things work out....eventually, but the title suggests not without some bumps in the road. Nathan and Martin are figuring out their relationship and with Martin's children it makes sense that Nathan eventually moves to be with him. The twins are only a few months away from emancipation at age eighteen, so they can choose where they live. I worry about Noah being used as a bargaining chip by his mother which is almost a certainty. I've avoided mentioning the shrew by name because I'm afraid we will become all too well acquainted in the next chapter.... Is it Wednesday yet? -

Avery had it all figured out until he didn't... Great job! The flow was perfect! -

I think I've read this someplace else, but its been a while and as before, the story has drawn me in and as I don't remember the particulars, I'll be back to see it through. -
You & me, Tom, Ian & Gus!
Daddydavek commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in You & me, Tom, Ian & Gus!
I'm hoping the new resident landscaper decides to do something with the back pasture leading to the small barn and happens to just dig up the relic.... -
The best thing about Jeremy is his therapist who is able to cut through his crap and histrionics and explain things in a way that gets through to him. She is definitely worth every nickel that Brad spends on her. Will's problems with the paparrazi are real but also a bit hilarious and if JJ can't come up with a plan, Will may have to increase his security or transfer to Stanford....Wealth and fame do bring their own set of problems. Thanks for this chapter, and LOTS more please!

Chapter 8 – not the last
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 8 – not the last
My thought was that Nathan was going to have to relocate...and then I saw Summerabbacat's post made the connection and the problem wasn't. -
Busy weekend for me and just caught up with the wrap-up. We had smoked dry rub ribs, a fruit plate, mac and cheese, party potato casserole, grilled asparagus, Hawaiian rolls and for desert strawberry torte cake. Of course I overate and my blood sugar was a bit high last evening....

This chapter got past me somehow and just caught it! It was interesting for several reasons as Joss' character is more clearly shown along with his humor. And yes, Martin definitely has to ask him to sit for a dick pic...

It was a beautiful Easter Sunday and I finished it with another installment about my favorite character. Thanks Mark! I hope George can repair the tainted ship's reputation, fix its physical and personnel problems and successfully sail to the intended destination. Why do I suspect a fly in the ointment?

Will is a force, especially from Travis' focus and I suspect Travis will become almost as jealous of him as Jeremy...and that may lead to Travis' outing. So I foresee a lot of drama to come. So of course, thanks for this latest installment and MORE PLEASE!

I found the descriptive "dazzle of dicks" fits very well. As someone who has always been somewhat jealous of anyone who can really do figure drawings well, the dazzle of dicks would be quite inspirational...

My condolences for all the work that goes into such an upgrade, but if done right and carefully, the benefits will be worth it. With my knees I don't do much gardening, just throw some annual flower seeds in the flower beds and appreciate whatever grows. Mostly marigolds as the deer don't find them tasty.

Chapter 7 - Whose home is it?
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 7 - Whose home is it?
Martin continues to hold off telling Benjamin about his changed circumstances nor speaking to his other children. Being circumspect is a good idea, but it seems more like an avoidance issue for our psychologist. The group hugs are wonderful. Justin figuring out why he was having difficulty falling asleep was endearing as well. James and Rick wanting to buy a house together in the neighborhood promises to be a bonus too! -
The plot thickens...on at at least two fronts; the French connection and the Spanish admiralty! Well done, and more please!

That's a winner! (And the Cards win 9-7 after being down 7-1) Thanks for the opening day present! This chapter was a very pleasant surprise!
