Could it be that Mr. Gatling had a soft spot (or hard part) for Mr. Roberts? Or even feeling conflicted about feelings for his herioc captain. Quite a quandary for George as he continues to reflect on his savvy young midshipman...

I liked the ending and the beginning of more character depth for Darius - will we begin to see some depth development for JJ? I remember some previous development for the two of them but they've been in the background so long, I've lost some of that detail... Thanks Mark!

Another great chapter with movement in the side plots. I can hardly wait for next weeks chapter though I have to wonder how much will come out when Trev calls Joel & Lisa while they are at Bridget's teen love shack...

Ahhh...the story moves forward with tension ratcheted up a few notches. I wonder how soon our boys will learn that Trev's thin cover has begun to unravel?

A touch of regret from Zach? Used to getting his way and then tried to threaten to get what he wanted, only to fail. Only when Gathan was packing to leave, did he perhaps realize what what leaving...

Very powerful but sad with a grim ending. It should stop each person that reads it and make them review how they interact with others. This would be a great piece to share with others... -
Looks like Trevor & Shane will be facing a big hoopla when they get back...too bad that will play into the hand of the bad guys...

As long as this is not some sort of "Dallas-like" dream chapter, the resolution of Trevor/Shane relationship that you have given us is ALMOST enough to erase the horrific near-death chapter from my memory! So how do I really feel about Trevor & Shane? The emotional surge of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus comes to mind... Thanks CJ for giving these guys some relief!

Will Mark do away with Kristen? There was one American fatality listed on the documentation related to the crash... I sense deep troubling waters ahead for Gathan if Mark indeed let's Kristen on that flight...

Hah! I knew it... Shane has latent tendencies exposed or encouraged by his dependencies on his own bud that helped him with his nightmares. Maybe Trevor does stand a chance of forming some sort of relationship with Shane that (we can at least hope) will develop into something much deeper over time. Both of these boys through no fault of their own, are damaged and may be REALLY good for each other... :ranger:
