I thought for sure we were going to have an alcohol fueled event fireside once our boys had several shots of rum and the beers. Knowing how Trevor lusts in his heart for Shane, combined with Shane's apparent appreciation of some of Trevor's attributes (remember his reaction to Trev in running shorts); it seemed the perfect scenario for some physical interaction that Shane & Trev could blame on the booze. Let's hope for a good reaction from Shane if Trev follows through with his decision to come out...

It's so easy to lose track of the timeline in the story but I'm a bit concerned about how Gathan viewed his meds as he left his step parents, Ella & Darius. He seemed to view them as an effective way to sleep/escape the disscussion downstairs, as much as pain relief from his wound...hope this doesn't turn into a dependancy.

Amazing what a few cannon can accomplish with those whose manners are a bit lacking..

I think we need a goatherd to drive the effort... LOL... Though your adoring public may be dismayed, our patience will be rewarded with the normal excellent results...

Out of great tragedy and human folly comes a little story to remind us that maybe it is still possible to find a chance for happiness in the midst of misery when we least expect it... Even though this was just a fictional story, it provided the message I wrote above... Thanks Mark!

Interesting twists and turns - never known what to expect...

Never fooled (hahaha...) me. I felt sure it was going to be a "Dallas" dream sequence...oh god, did I just date myself?

Sure didn't see the Cody surprise coming! A few others as well...

Nice chapter...now all we need worry about forthe moment, is how Shane will react to Trevor's coming out to him...being young, likely not an issue for him to be ok with Trevor. The question is will Shane be inclined to explore the opportunities???

As I was reading Gathan's thoughts about him being "toxic"' I had a flashback to Jeff... Hopefully Gathan will see the "upper head" doctor to overcome his younger years issue. Don't know if I could handle another "good Hayes" self-destruct...

I've really enjoyed Myr's alternative HP story and characterizations... We want more chapters!!! :ranger:

I've got to agree with Jdkrebs above...Even though "it's just a story"' it was told so incredibly well. I dispared that Andy would never get it figured out and that Matt would be left torn and drifting without the rock that was Andy, when he needed it most in his earlier childhood. I'm so happy to have them exorcise the demons of the last two years and be more into each other than they ever were before, and still be able to recognize that they both still need more from other relationships to be complete. Many emotions and a few tears were wrung from me with this chapter. I still have a concern though over how the opening chapter played out with Matt being in the empty condo reflecting on a room that would forever have Matt's name on the door, a room that would forever remain empty...at least that is how I recall the story beginning... Hopefully the story will not go forth from this chapter and have an event that occurs to take Matt and Andy away from what they've restored and strengthened...not sure that I could take that. Thanks Adam for this GREAT story!

I liked the chapter. Of course youngest HAD to build the anxiety level by having the guys look for each other, causing them to not find each other... At least you let them find each other before the chapter ended...

My first comment on this story - I like the character development so far and hope we get to learn a bit more about Mark and his back story with Blaine... Thanks for sharing your writing Renee.

Andy, WHAT a TEASE - you "bastid" - as one of my northeastern cohorts would say... LOL Not very nice of you to end it there and leave us hanging for the short story that you promised for the trial of Jordan. And then, to throw in the tidbits about Jordan's dear old dad and his shady business practices that would seem to rise to the level of criminal activity... I sure hope as part of Jordan's comeuppance that we see the rest of the haughty Colmars get theirs too! Thanks again for giving us Second Shot!

Well I had somewhat resigned myself to the end of Jase & Pete but you surprised me. I was very happy to see those segments where Peter shared his conversations with his mom, and then the counseling sessions - it felt right, exactly what was needed to let the guys come back together. It also provided just right amount of teary-eyed moments for the reader. The loving reconnection scene had just the right amount of eroticism and detail to feel in the moment with the guys. "he smiled the entire ride home." Home - where the heart is...left me smiling too - outstanding close Andy!

A very interesting start to the newest sea adventures of our hero... :-)

Is he, isn't he? Poor Will...I sense a big crush coming on and with a 4-year difference, I think it will be a bit bumpy. I sure hope JJ gets an attitude adjustment soon, or at least we see the story develop and explain his issues. Hopefully he didn't get Rich's bad qualities... Well I almost had it right! I expected a rebound into each others arms but knowing our Andy, there was as much chance for that happening, as there was for D to take a walk on "the wild side" with Ethan...now that's a visual... :ranger: Dean coming to Graydon...Some brotherly support will be a great help to Jase if Pete can't pull his head out. Having Dean there, playing soccer with Jase & D, could be what Jase will need to help him deal with his emotional winter... I think this chapter and the last have been written in such a way that as a reader, while I really don't want to see Pete & Jase really end it, I could live with it if Jase was able to begin moving on with Dean by his side to support him. Bittersweet... Great job Andy,

Ok so we Chet Matt or Gathan as the next narrator - now for the million $ question: When will we see the first chapter of the next CAP storyline??? You fans anxiously await the response!

As Brad envisioned, a very "Godfather-esque" ending for two of our prime lowlifes. At least they went out with an bang in more ways than one... So when will Bradley be sitting down for the ritual ring kissing procession?

Hmmmnnn...what a bumpy ride! If Pete can't get his act together, will Ethan and Jason rebound into each other's arms? Interesting possible twist - how long will you make us wait to know the answer Andy???

I love all of your stories and this ending has been building for a long time. I've even gone back and read all of the CAP stories again to refresh myself on all of the intertwining relationships. Thanks for giving us hours upon hours of great storytelling! Kevin
