I spell ciggie like that too. Strange. Yeah we eat 'tea' here too. If we have dinner at lunchtime then we have tea at teatime. If we have lunch at lunchtime then we have dinner at teatime. I usually have dinner at teatime. My son doesn't have lunch, tea or dinner... he has middle food and end food which I think is a lot more sensible

I haven't yet lost any of my peers so I have no idea what that feels like. I am losing older relatives like crazy though so I'm quite experienced in death these day. We've become quite close acquaintances. I have always felt that we should live every day as if it was out last and that doesn;t aways work out what with work and such but I still try

Yes, we do Amen brother What makes you think that this will be any different to all the rest? when has the Queen EVER paid for a ceremony like this?

yayay The more the merrier. I would definitely tell you how to get into the group IF I had the first idea how. It's Agaith's baby so give him a poke and he'll invite you in.

Why do they refer to Kate as Middleton throughout the article. I thought that was really disparaging and disrespectful. Apart from that... they're both human beings and ( I hope) in love so who wouldn't be pleased for them. I doubt I'm going to get an invitation to the wedding though

Okay this is what they all are in Wales Pop = soda, father soda, not father, the sound a baloon makes when it bursts or a cork comes out of a bottle Coke = any brand of soda (mostly used in the southern areas) Same. Also the white powder you snort. Trunk = back end of an automobile a big wooden box for storing things. The nose of an elephant (the back end of a car is a Boot) Boot = a foot covering same plus the back end of a car and ... "to boot" as in "and he was smiling to boot" meaning 'as well as' usually derrogatory. To boot out... to throw out violently as in "I booted him out of the club." Hood = front end of an automobile the front end of a car is a bonnet. A hood is... a head covering, a gangster Bonnet = a type of hat worn by females in the past Same as well as the front end of a car. Incidentally automobile is a very old word for car that we dont use at all. Sometimes it is abbreviated to 'auto' in the names of some garages. Gas = gasoline for an automobile. By and large we don't put gas in our cars, it is diesel or petrol. Gas is what our cookers and central heating works on, flatulance, or to gossip and in "those two could gas for hours" Wheels = any type of automobile Things that go around. Crib = the living space that one calls home What babies sleep in. To cheat by copying someone else "He cribbed her notes" Peepers = eyes same Cell = mobile phone we just say mobile. Crusties = underpants old hippies Straps = suspenders to hold one's pants suspenders Pants = exterior covering of lower half of the body male underwear. (pants are trousers), something that is poor quality "that group was pants". What a dog does Chemist = a specific field of study A shop where you buy drugs (the legal over the counter kind) perfumes etc and usually lots of other things. Drug Store = pharmacy Dont use that phrase at all A jiffy = a short amount of time same Fag = an extremely offensive insult Same... and a cigarette. "just going outside for a fag" Dinner = the evening meal Can be midday meal or evening meal or both. A sleeper = BORING! someone who is asleep or the wooden bits on a railway track. Chill = relax, calm down Same. Being cold, having a cold. Lame = stupid, unacceptable same and having a limp Keen = astute same Lory = the misspelled form of the female name Lori My daughter is Lori Van = delivery truck A closed in dlivery vehicle, A delivery vehicle with an open back is a truck. The tube = television same... and a tv programme. Pint = a scientific measurement A large glass of lager. If you go to the bar and ask for a pint you get lager, if you want beer you have to ask for it. In our working men's clubs it will cost you about

HAHA we couldn't organise our way out of a paper bag Ok fb group it is. Call it something weird and pm us with the name so no one else knows what it's about. Presumably we can invite people in if someone else expresses an interest.
-
Awww... how cute is that? So if fb group is not good, how about a shared chat on msn. No one else can be involved and no one will know what it's about.
-
That would be great. I have no idea how to do that. I agree with Paya that any information giving away more than the city and the date in public would potentially be dangerous.

I have already booked the holiday and I'm committed to the weekend of 4th Feb so that's when I'm going to be there. If anyone wants to go at another time that's fine Okay, so I'm happy to collect telephone numbers. If you want to pm me that's cool or you can email me at Chakira@hotmail.co.uk. Erm Bleu... what do I do with them when I get them?

There's everone on everyone action. Loved it. I wish I was in it too. Of course I never would be because my body just isn't the right shape.

From my point of view the yes/no in efiction as to whether a story is completed or not means whether it has been completely posted or not. I'm not sure if I've got that right or not. ALL of my stories are completed before I start posting for two reasons. First I don't like the pressure of having to write to keep up with posting and two I often go back and change parts of my story as other things come up and need to be tied in. I suppose that this is because I don't plan out my stories in advance. But surely then that means that people who are posting as they go do have a plan for the story and therefore should be able to post through to the end. I don't know, but I do know that it frustrates me when I get into a story, which I often do, only to then have it abandoned before it's finished.

I think that looks do count but that they are very subjective. I mean that what attracts one person won't attract another and that's where the 'looks don't matter' comes in. You go for someone who attracts you... becuase they have pretty eyes or nice hair or a beautiful smile... but that doesn't necessarily have to be obectivel beautiful. I mean who would sleep with someone they found physically repulsive? But what is repulsive to one person is a real turn on to others. For example I HATE body builders. I think the are gross and that kind of huge muscle is a complete and utter turn of. However, to a lot of peolple they are physically perfect and desirable. I can't stand men with very very short hair... that is a big turn off to me and I often won't even look at the face underneath, not unless the have amazing eyes or something. I get a real turn on for a man with long hair and that attracts me irrespective of what the rest of him is like. Of course once you have the intial attraction then there has to be an emotional and spiritual attraction/connection or no matter what they look like the relationship doesn't work. In short I think looks do count but not necessarily in the way the questions seems to imply. Beauty is important but the way that people view beauty is very subjective and even though you might think you look like a dog there are most certainly people out there who go for shiny coats and cold noses.

As far as paper advertising is concerned it goes straight into the bin without even a glance. If I can tell from the envelope it is likely to be something unimportant I don't even open it. I mean even my bank is offering 'sales' wtf. Telephone advertising doesn't work because I NEVER answer my landline. I figure that if it's anyone who knows me the'll ring my mobile and if it isn't then who cares. If someone leaves a voicemail I eventually get back to them... when I remember to listen. SO it's a case of if you don't know my mobile number you're pretty screwed. TV advertising gets totally filtered out. I very rarely watch and if I do I don't really notice, they're just annoyances. I dont think I have EVER bought anything just because I've seen it on TV. Ads do serve one useful purpose in our house though. I have one of those incredibly unusual children who hardly ever ask for anything. Ef is weird. If offered a bowl of sweets or a plate with pumpkin brownies on them he asks first how many he is allowed to ask and then religiously only takes that much. When asked what he wants for Christmas or his Birthday he inevitably respods... just anything. Soooo when we watch Christmas adverts we make a list of anything he would quite like and then I choose of that for Christmas and Birthday. Simples

OKAY!!!! I'm GOING to Manchester on 4th February and so is Bleu so there had better be someone else coming or SOMEONE is going to get bitten !!!!! I don't know Manchester at all so I cant even suggest somewhere to go or where the best place to stay is. I am assuming that I get off at the main raillway station and get accom as near to there as I can. So where is the best place to meet, where is the best places to go? I KNOW there are some of you who live in Manchester so get your finger out and sort this. There doesn't seem to me to be any requirement to ORGANISE the meet just arrange somewhere to meet and take it from there if no one wants to step up and do anything else. I'm warning you there had better be someone there because if I have to spend my weekend alone in my room with my laptop HEADS WILL ROLL.
