It's exactly the issue I was exploring in Love in Chains. Can you love someone who you are hurting? Can you love someone who is hurting you? Who are we to say? Only our heart can tell us. Your poem was thought provoking and yes it was dark and yes it was bleak but it was passionate and poignant and in places beautiful. There were parts that reminded me strongly of the song My Immortal by Evanescence. Some of the phrases are almost identical and it's just so haunting -

Try St Anthony, the patron saint of miracles. The universe is also a good one to pray to as she is non denominational and can't help but listen because she's part of you. At the end of the day it's hot the who it's the how. If you put energy out there it will have an effect. Put enough belief and hope into a prayer no matter who it is to and it will have an effect. If it's not answered it's because it's not supposed to be. Sometimes it's a case of what will happen must happen

As someone has already said... you play the hand you get. Some hands have duff cards, some four aces. You cant tell someone they can't compete because they are more likely to win through something that is no fault of theirs. Of course artificial enhancement should be banned but if we start stamping our foot and throwing our toys out of the pram every time with think someone has an unfair advantage just because they were born bigger, faster, smarter, more talented then we are going to lose the brightest and best in every feild. Wouldn't the world be poorer if that happened.

I am not comfortable with hiding things. I have never ever hidden my sexuality from anyone. I has just never crossed my mind to do it. I suppose it's easier for women than men though. i have never, ever had an issue about it from anyone. I have rainbow badges on my bag and a rainbow mug on my desk and everyone knows I write here, some have even read some stories. I guess I am as out as it's possible to be without having the word Bisexual tattooed on my forehead

At 24 I had a house, a husband and a 2 year old daughter. I had just started university to do my law degree and making some friends that I still have now. It was one of the best times of my life when I could get away with going to dinner parties and also the Goth night at the student union when I scared old ladies on the train.... oh wait I STILL do that For me the very best thing about age 24, at least from this side.... is that 24 is still (just) on the dating scope for 45 year olds
