Jeremy Green is a nineteen year old student. He has great friends, his grades are cool and everything is perfect. Or is it? He's living with his boyfriend: a young business tycoon Jacob Rochester. Jacob is not like the usual boyfriend. He is possessive. He wants his way. He always has his way. He scares Jeremy. He makes Jeremy writhe in pain. But Jeremy says he still loves him. How long will Jeremy say the same? A story of drama,pathos, love and obsession.

As part of the creative writing course I am taking, a recent assignment was to write a chapter to go at the start of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men - written in the style of Steinbeck. I have decided to share it with you all.
