Inspired by an idea my girlfriend and I are growing, The Cheerleader and the Art Geek is a short collection of romantic stories based off of different aspects of our relationship. Each is titled with one of the songs we love, and when put all together, map a love story as beautiful as a rainbow on a sunny day. Are things always as they seem.

This is the story of a gay teenager whose dream is to become a famous pop singer. This is his story from the bottom to the top, maybe.

Prompted by a question from one of his students, Mr. Hammond proceeds to fill the class in about the background a multitude of famous gays, lesbians and bisexuals. He also gives them a brief lesson on the history of homosexuality.

For the creative writing course I'm taking, I recently had to submit two poems as part of my mandatory coursework. I've had some nice feedback from my class lecturer, so I figured I'd share them.
