Long Day is one of my first stories and follows Jake Tull who suffers from aphasia - which manifests in his being restricted to, mostly, repeating recorded words like song lyric. An all time favorite of mine.

This story follows teens as they navigate friends, the foster care system and finding out who they are. There may or may not be a supernatural element at play. The series does feature references to the band Jethro Tull, a recurring theme.
