Stories

This continuation of the story that began as “The Last Boys In Clinton” follows George, Lionel, and Lorenzo to Clinton, Tennessee, a suburb of Knoxville.

It will also cover the futures of some of the other major characters from that story.

It started as a misunderstanding until it wasn't. Rhory An and Cahir Wei are complete opposites from two warring worlds, and yet it seems like fate keeps pushing them towards each other. Cahir, a man with a past filled with trauma, grief, vengeance, and hate, while Rhory, a man who seeks to live his best life while juggling the protective brothers who wish him to remain trapped in a glass cage as if he'd get lost in the world of sin. When one fateful night changes everything, Rhory is thrust into Cahir's world of violence and danger.

A young Hispanic teen boy had his life ripped out from under him when his father got transferred. He's getting by, but isn't the happy, gay boy he was before. Something tragic changes that for him. Needless to say, it isn't a totally happy story all the way through.

Who doesn't love having a secret life?

Detective Saggio has become a private investigator. His latest client believes he has a target on his back. Will this case pull him back onto the police force?

Stephen Zamora has been picked on by his peers since his first day of school almost eight years ago. School starts again in about five weeks. Stephen is not looking forward to it. A new school, in a new town. A fresh start. A whole new set of tormentors await him. And one boy who will make his life bearable again.

Another episode from the files of Detective Gennaro Saggio. Labor Day has come and gone with no crime perpetrated with the detective in mind. Mid-October, however, well, that is an entirely different story.

The Sons of Mayhem MC, based in the Pacific Northwest, has deeply embedded itself into the soil of their hometown, Ironridge. Their word is law, and law enforcement has little to no power to fight for their place at the table. When fate reunites two high school sweethearts, Lynk 'Leviathan' Lennox and Ever Warren, they are pulled to each other like honey to a moth, but danger lurks. When the President of the SoM gets assassinated in cold blood, there is only one way to find peace: vengeance. With tensions rising within the club, there is only one thing clear: the Leviathan will tear the town apart in order to bring justice.

Prompt #9 - Creative scene by @wildone

You run into school knowing you are late, again. You quickly stop at your locker and ditch your jacket and grab some books. As usual the halls are quiet during classes. You dash to your classroom, open the door and start on your explanation and stop. No one is there. No teacher, no other students. You leave and look at other classrooms, all empty. You check your phone and it is actually a school day and not a holiday or anything else. What's happening?

It's a common belief that places can be haunted due to things that occurred there. This seems especially true for prisons, hospitals, and hotels. As I have done before, I thought it would be interesting to tell a story from a unique perspective; this time, a haunted hotel story, but from the hotel's most notorious room's perspective. So, once again, this is an anthropomorphic story. We'll get to experience some of the nasty things that happened in room 606 of the fictional Memphis-Mississippi Hotel. We will experience what the room witnesses. Witnesses, or is the room itself an active participant?
