Charlie and the guys are looking to spend some peaceful time before Halloween, catching up with old friends on the dark planet Engris. But a sudden emergency grabs their attention, and before they know it they are off on a new adventure , traveling to a place they never thought they would see...not while they were still alive!

Charlie and the gang return to the realm of the dead to deal with the malicious spirit Lane Tallfield, first encountered in the Halloween tale, I Think This Place is Haunted, Charlie Boone! Their own Christmas spirit has been placed on hold in the hopes that they can corral the ex-lawman and keep him from causing even more trouble for their alien friends. It's not something Charlie would rather be dealing with at Christmas time, but he knows that putting off the next confrontation might be dangerous in more ways than one!

This tale is a follow-up to I Think This Place is Haunted, Charlie Boone! You really should read that one first!

Charlie and his friends have gotten their business, Third Planet Inquiries, rolling. After a slow start, job inquiries have been coming in, and they have launched into solving unusual mysteries all over the planet and beyond. So when a man contacts them about investigating a house that refuses to be renovated, the guys are off on another adventure that will take them to the ends of the earth, and more!

The guys are rolling along now with their business, Third Planet Inquiries, and it looks like their future is secure. Good ol’ planet earth has a lot of strange things going on that need to be investigated! And as Halloween approaches, Kippy is hoping something will come up to occupy their attention, something creepy or spooky, in keeping with that holiday. So, when Amy gets a strange phone call, things start to get interesting, and the guys are off on another adventure, just in time for Halloween!

Charlie, Kip, Rick, and Adrian are set to spend their first Christmas in their new home. But nothing before now has quite prepared them for living in a magical world full-time. They’re about to find out how different that can really be!

Charlie Boone and his friends have been working to develop their powers, and to expand what they know about them. While on an experiment with Max to test out a new concept, the guys discover a mystery taking place in the far north, one that might have far-reaching consequences for Planet Earth. Charlie and the gang set out to trouble-shoot a problem for old Mr. Elias Grampet, who thinks he’s being stalked. The investigation soon leads them offworld, and into another adventure far out among the stars, where they’ll meet new friends, and an interesting new enemy!
