DomLuka's Official Story Site. DomLuka dominated the online gay writing genre in the early 2000s with his strong character-driven narratives. He slipped off quietly in 2009 and we haven't heard from him since, sadly. There are a handful of stories that he never finished and are so marked.

The two stories I've authored thus far, WORKING IT OUT and BELOVED, can be classified as "growing up gay" works, I think. The protagonist(s) are outed or come out to family and friends, sometimes moving from questionable support or lack of support for their orientation among significant others into strong commitments which permit them to mentor others. Religious affiliations of the heroes and their real or adoptive families are portrayed as supportive of gays, who often seek formal recognition .

Romance and life's daily experiences can be exciting, passe, rewarding and just a pain in the ass - depending on the situation and time of the day. They have been since Adam did his "apple thing" with Eve. Or was it Steve? Jack Scribe's stories involve contemporary gay males in a variety of situations that test the mettle of the characters in his novels and short stories. "Boy gets boy" is the end result.

In the epic Science Fiction/Fantasy tradition the tales within can take place on Earth, Mars and worlds far distant in time and space. In such fanciful settings you will find that most reflect on love that never should have been but was always meant to be. These are not short tales. They're not for the faint of heart. Even with a life filled with hardships love is the substance that glues everything together. Here you will find PLOT is king; its many lines laced together like a fine spider web.

I'm an addict. One of my addictions is reading and writing M/M romance. It's not completely debilitating. In fact, I may be able to happily live with this addiction. I just haven't figured out how to tell my mother.
My other addiction? Coffee. I do live in Seattle, after all.
