Just some words - 3. A summer's day
Lets Play
At play
these two young friends
give chase they dodge and dart
then falling on the grass to wrestle
pausing there one atop the other
the gentle brush of lips
in a shared kiss
a sigh
two blushing smiles
then off again they dash
in childhood innocence to chase
to play.
At Rest
Entwined
two lie sleeping
in the sun dappled grass
with hearts beating in measured time
sprawled arms legs akimbo
innocently
at rest.
