Exquisite Corpse and Other Collaborations - 6. From Afar

A new Exquisite Corpse collaboration between @Mikiesboy and myself. As before, we alternated composing the stanzas and shared only the last line of each with one another.
This poem was quite personal. Rather than preface it with an explanation, I'll just let it rest here.

My mind often slips to you when i know it should not
i love you from afar, though i will never see you
but you know my heart across all those miles
because i cannot hide my truth from you

Even though we shall never meet
These miles of agonizing separation
Cannot alter the connection we share
you and I are of the same ilk, bonded

Sometimes my longing for you is agony
i cry tears you will never see
i wish for the impossible, a chance to serve
to touch skin i can only dream of knowing

Encounters with you kidnap my thoughts
Arouse me to the point of senselessness
Yet I continue to envision them
Revolving images of a bound and patient boy

Closing my eyes, i can hear your voice
misty scenes clear and i am waiting for you
eyes downcast, silently i beg for your touch
for me, be it pain, or a kiss, from you it is love

At times I am taunted by your absence
Those tangible elements I’ll never savor
But you are a magnet that draws the world’s affection
And I find consolation in the fortune of knowing you

Thank you for reading.

Chapter Comments

Thanks all for reading and liking and/or commenting on this. Honestly, tim and I debated posting it. We debated even writing it. But some things need to be expressed, and it seemed the best way for us to do it, in this Exquisite Corpse form. Mike was the first person to read it, privately. His immediate approval of the piece prompted me to go ahead and post it. @MichaelS36 your comments mean a hell of a lot to me. You're right about it being intrinsic to the Life and who we are. I have deep bonds with many subs. My affection for tim is kind of wrapped up in you, too, because you're there with him, guiding him to be a better person and the best sub he can be. And, hey, on occasion you might administer a few well-placed smacks from me. ;)

I know this choice was easy and very difficult for you both. What will people think? Say? I got an e-mail today for a wonderful woman who is also in our Lifestyle. She read an article recently which said, based on the amount of communication, thought and love between a Dom and their sub, people who live the BDSM lifestyle are likely the last romantics. I don't know if that's true, but it's unlike any relationship I've had before. The feelings I have for tim, are nearly impossible to describe. I understand you and tim, Mac. It doesn't threaten me, my marriage or my relationship with tim, in fact I welcome other Doms in tim's world. tim has been honest with me the whole way, as have you.  Maybe more honesty and understanding in this world would help.  As I said when you asked me to read this piece, you have my blessing and full support.

And sure I'll be happy to give him some well placed whacks for you!

I find it sad that people who normally read and post on your works, haven't.  To the few who have, I applaud your bravery.
