Exquisite Corpse and Other Collaborations - 2. Without Waver

Here is another Exquisite Corpse poem that tim and I collaborated on. This one demonstrates the call and response between a Dom and sub. Again, we only shared the final line of each stanza with one another.

With decisive hand and determined heart

I shepherd you to hands and knees

The space between us diminishes, fades

And I bind you in a position of compliance.

 

i watch the rope looped through Your fingers

Each knot, keeps me safe and frees me

i let go of my fear and control, trusting You,

To bend me to Your will, but never break me

 

Cinching the ropes across your skin

I seize your attention, with words and potent sensations

Deliberate slaps, snaps, abrasions

Causing not fear but your undiluted focus and trust

 

i kneel patiently, with downcast eyes

You speak softly, and my resistance fades

Your words are my focus, my everything

My wings are unfurled and i fly

 

The connection we share is symphonic

A distant world explored together in mind, body, soul

The greatest gift being your complete submission

Offered to Me in silent obedience, without waver

 

Each touch and word is a gift

Your essence brings centre and focus

These are your promises to me

And quietude is my debt to You

this still amazes me. how close it is. Each Dom has His/Her way, i have no real knowledge of Yours, Sir. Yet.. i am still shaking my head in wonder, Sir.

Mac Sir, and tim, i believe congratulations are in order.

 

this is another beautiful piece and the fact that it was done blind, as it were, only adds to the wonder of it

 

i often say that poems leave me speechless, this one doesn't. quite the opposite. there are so many things i'd like to say, but the thoughts and feelings it invokes are difficult to express coherently.

it does, however, leave me breathless.

Mac Sir and tim, a beautiful collaboration. Captures the overwhelming connection between Dom and sub. Peace, trust, and ultimate freedom. These personal scenes bring complete fulfillment.

Call and response.. I like that, and it works extremely well in this poem. Just as there’s the commanding, yet gentle strength in your words, there’s the reverence or obeisance in tim’s. 

It is beautiful, confident, and sure. Once again I am in awe, gentlemen.

I really don’t know how you two do this. It’s as if you are reciting the lines back and forth face to face. The connection between the stanzas flows freely and without effort. 

 

As for your words? Simply wonderful. They describe a relationship that is one way, but the feelings, the mood, the respect, the mutual showing of doing what is right and good for the other is what all relationships should be about - regardless of the form they take. 

 

Another homerun out of the park, Mac and tim. Well done! 

 

I’m looking forward to the next one and the one after that, and the one after that...well, you get the picture.... :D

Moving and powerful. The connection is incredible. I hope you two consider working together from time to time, you should not keep such amazing work from us.

This was very interesting. As tim said, it comes to me as a picture.  Seldom do I understand poetry, but this one I do!
