The Neverending Book - 26. Addiction II

~Addiction II~

This pattern is like the rings of Saturn.
It will burn and return and burn you in it's urn.
Like a caldron it will cook you as you continue.
It burned you with it's fire,
Because, it is what you desire.
You like it. You hate it.
You drank it.
You ate it.
You could not stop it.
You could not drop it.
It shook you & took you.
Like an earthquake it shattered all that mattered.
You already knew. You already know.
It always gets you as you scream & shout- "NoOOooO!!"
It never leaves you alone.
It will eventually be shown, if
you do not protect what is your own.
Listen...
The reality is,
The addiction is not yours.
It is what the evil one adores. You know who he is- the one who crawls on all fours. Do not follow his chores.
Close your own doors.
Never let him in.
And, you will eventually win. You will eventually grin, if you do not sin. What is a sin? It is anything that hurts yourself or others. It is really that simple. Love yourself & your brothers. Do not follow what he follows. And, the Addiction no longer swallows. This page gave you the cure to always stay pure.
