The Neverending Book - 21. Reflection

Reflection

You cannot run away from today.
Where would you go anyway?
You cannot hide from this tide.
It holds you by each side.
Face your fears & turn them into cheers.
Look at the mirror, despite its terror.
No matter how much you will tremor,
Face it.
Embrace it.
The mirror does not lie,
It is a physical reply.
It shows.
It knows. It will reveal what does not appeal.
Understand, what has been planned, may have led you here.
But, if you go even further, you can have so much cheer.
Pay the tax and you will relax.
Pay the final fee to be free.
And, you will be who you are meant to be.
