The Neverending Book - 33. The Ones Who Fell

~The Ones Who Fell~

They are mad.

They are sad.

They once belonged to the sky.

But, now, they fry & cry.

Yet, they cannot die.

Why?

Your heart will tell you.

It is not a lie.

How to not become like them?

Cling to the light,

And, it will be alright.

Those who fell live in hell,

Because, they are trapped by their own spell.

Can't you tell?

They can never burn bright,

Because, they HATE what is right!

They get burned by the light.

The second love touches them,

They get set on fire.

This is why they can never be higher.

They are already gone.

Yet, they cannot move on.

They love it & they hate it.

Does that make any sense?

No, it does not.

Yet, they care not for repentance.

They do not care.

This is why they are there.

They chose their cage,

Long ago...

In an ancient age.
