If you have, or have ever had an animal companion(or even if neither applies), you should read this. A very touching, well written little story that may evoke some tears. Cheers!

Response from the author:

Thank you Gary. Writing this story has been a way of self-therapy. Making others smile and remember their beloved companions once again, is an additional reward.

Have you ever had a dog that you raised from a pup and enjoy many wonderful years with it?  If you have, then this story will help you remember what it was like and the many good times and bad as it matured.  The story is short, and I'm sure  you'll enjoy it.

Response from the author:

Our Nox went to the eternal hunting grounds in 2021. We needed until now to get a new puppy. Benjamin Lafayette Sisko will join our chaotic household next week.

Thank you, for your heartfelt review, Bill.

If you like or own a dog, this is a story for you!

Take a moment and reconnect how much and how wonderful our four-legged companions are/were!!

Response from the author:

Thank you drsawzall!  I go through my pictures, we talk about him and tell each other stories of all the crazy stuff he did, like taking a bath in the kiddie pool and run through the entire house dripping mud.
