This was a great story! The ending was a bit abrupt (and I kind of figured out that his mother found out after he left his entire room unattended for that damn photo paper...thumbsupsmileyanim.gif)

I hope when you get a chance to fix Colorado Game so I can see how this story ties into the other one. I heard it goes in around Ch. 39, so I'm waiting to see new chapters posted for CG past the 15 chapters currently listed.

Thanks you again for a wonderful read!

Thanks A. I consider that good news.

As to the chess match: Chess is ususally compared to war. To me it has always been an insight to my opponent's thougth processes. Even if I loose, I have learned something about the way my opponents think. Who was the unknown opponent. I don't cheat at solitaire, I enjoy chess and can find the same stimulation (playing against a real live person), I get from a really interesting conversation. I have never played against meself. So, who is the oponent? Could be an old lover? A potential new lover? I would feel more comfortable if JJ had found an antique chessboard set up; ready to play. To me the permutations are intriguing.

This was one sweet piece of romance. The classical tropes: the pretend boyfriend and forced bed sharing (and sometimes that´s exactly what a reader wants of a story) all executed with a lighthearted touch to it. As the reader one is never worried it will end badly, even though JJ doesn´t trust the signals he´s receiving from Michael. JJ´s insecurity, inexperience and youth is sweet and endearing, and Michael´s strength and dominance makes him cut for the role as the classical romance hero.

This is the perfect choice for when one wants something that makes you feel good throughout the whole read and leaves you with a silly smile on your face. biggrin.gif I just loved it.

Now that's a review... Thank you! :)

Oh for crying out loud. The chess game was a stalemate, people. They both won. Honestly

Great story. Loved Olivia. Loved the development of JJ. Loved JJ basically lol.

Yeah, the plot was predictable, but then, which one isn't to an extent. What was a catch to the imagination, though, was Olivia ordering the plane into the air. Now that I had not expected hehe! Tough old bird that one!

As for the ending ... wtf is the problem? It's a brilliant way to end it. Michael gets what he really craves, but he also gets a man who is able to parry his dominance. The final courtship scene could be plotted out by any one of us ... so why bother :)

If I were to recommend anything .. it would be to take those chapter end notes out. I couldn't give a hoot if you've changed it a bit. That's editing. So what!

Again ... great story, loved it. ... next... :D
