Genres: General Fiction,
Sub-genres: Drama, Family Drama

Prompt 381 – Challenge
Tag – Uncomfortable situation
Every writer has a time where they need to create a scene around something uncomfortable. This can be someone being fired, a death in the family, or breakup. Your challenge is to create such a scene and include as much detail as you can. What is the setting? What can we see or hear? Is the person sweating or can we smell antiseptic? Involve as many of the senses as you can in your scene and bring it to life.

@BendtedWreath grabbed his prompt with both hands and ran with it.

The prompt wanted details.... you got them. This was very well written and invokes imagery with every paragraph.

You can easily imagine yourself in Dalit's shoes as he deals with the end of a relationship and the reason behind it.

Well worth reading. Kudos!

Response from the author:

😭 I'm so relieved it read decently! Thank you.

A voyage through the consequences of a devastating event whose impact is evoked by the author with a sublime passion eloquently described.

Response from the author:

I'm floored by your words, as I'd never describe anything I made that way. I look forward to reading more of your work, as well!
