Really enjoyed CDMX but felt slightly cheated by ending, especially as The Cadet goes much further into the future..... it almost felt like you were slightly borrowed with the story..... A great pity as the end of the story felt rushed when I for one wanted more!! Perhaps it would have been better if The Cadet hadn't cover the future.

I was stunned that the story was SO up to date with developments in Ukraine.

What's with The Earth series??

You have a great writing style and I look forward to new instalments and CJ/Ozzie's future. If you plan to write further Squad stories, I'd like to see a positive future for Patrick and I'd like to read more what's happened to The Elite.

All in all great story telling.....gay with some sex, but not porn.... but thrilling with adult themes.

Well done

Please continue.

@Simon41

Glad you enjoyed it!

You are, I think, the second person who claims they felt the ending was rushed, and I honestly don't know why. I tried to tie up all significant loose ends in the epilogue and crafted the ending scene so CJ would be in the air on his way to the US. The title of the story is the first clue this is about their time in Mexico. Period. Anything else is irrelevant.

In Cadet, I wrote about Ritch finding out what took place and joining the family in Miami. Miami's in Florida not in Mexico and therefore whatever the heck happened there is not pertinent to CDMX. Hell, I also wrote about CJ being a speaker at the Academy and the family being there for the graduation, but that doesn't belong in this story either.

The events in Mexico will be part of their lives. FOREVER. I'm sure if I write more CJ stories, there will be mentions of the kidnapping.

The reference to Ukraine I added the week that chapter went live. LOL Since I had a Russian in the story, it felt like a good fit, and it was easy to sneak it in. I did the same during Ethan's explanation of his new assignment. I'd written a generic version and updated it with references to businesses opposed to women losing control over their bodies to the state.

What do you mean about the Earth (Day) Stories? I've been publishing one on April 22 every year.

There are a ton of CJverse stories I'd love to write, but time is an issue. Tank and Harley are atop my list of spinoffs, but I have no idea when. I also have a couple of spin ins I'd love to do.

Lets see how the rest of the year shapes up, but I'm done writing the giant stories. One shots and limited chapters from now on.
