I read this ten years too late. But this tale is timeless.

Get some tissues ready. This is about loss and grief, and ultimately how the people you love can help you heal.

Written in 2013 this story has aged like a vintage port.  It is beautifully written and a tough read emotionally.  It deserves to be rediscovered in 2013.

I had no idea where this was going, but the Wishing Well/One Love from the beginning became the background song that played in my head the whole time I read it and it somehow made it even MORE heartbreakingly beautiful.
