Charm is Just Another Word for Sexy 2. A Charmed Life

   (2 reviews)

Jesse and Marty have become friends, and something more. The speed with which they have come together is a little baffling to them both. But it's summer, school is out, and their adventure together is just beginning.

This story is a continuation of events that began with The Charm. It can be read on its own, but it will sort of be like reading a novel without the prologue, and you don't wanna do that, right?

This is the beautifully written vignette in The Charm series. Jesse moping in the woods, fort and small pond that Nate and he built together before Nate moved away.  There he discovers bad boy Marty.  Marty and Jesse quickly connect then yield to their young teen hormones.  They happily fall in love/lust, but Jesse still clings to thoughts of Nate, and Marty wants to change things to mark them as belonging to Jesse and him.

The story is written with skill and authenticity.  The true treasure is the emotions which summons the reader to remember times of their own youth when excitement, angst, joy and passion ruled their own transition to young adults.

I highly recommend this story.

Response from the author:

I rather thought no one would ever quite dare to review this series. Thanks! :)
