Manny Needs a Nanny 2. Georgia Sojourns

   (7 reviews)

A response to Prompt #68:

Imagine where your character leads a pretty decent single life. Then there is a phone call and that life is turned upside down as they find out, they have just become a parent—to a teenager. Is this a cousin that has been left with no other family members? A god child? A niece or nephew? What is this first meeting between them going to be like?

The circumstances whereby Manny obtains guardianship are a little strange, to say the least. Not to mention what happens afterward.

Thoroughly enjoyable story about what it means to be family.  In some ways, the families you care about the most are the ones that you choose to make.

Really interesting and enjoyable characters that draw you in.

Well written and pacing was first rate; I did find the ending a little abrupt, but part of that is me, I never want the stories to end.  They need to continue forever.  LOL

There are some rough areas, but the author does a really good job handling them and warning that they are coming so not to trigger anyone that would have an issue with them.

Response from the author:

Grazie mille (Thanks much), As always, I'm glad when people enjoy my stories.

Manny found a purpose, a husband and adopted a son. The road along the way was full of potholes with Manny and Rocky, his future son suffering and recovering.

The conclusion will help you smile. This is worth reading and staying until the end.

Response from the author:

Another glowing review. Much appreciated @akascrubber.

I want to reccomend this story for all who love happy endings. A story of a teenager who lost his parents too early. Then someone steps in and helps him become the great person his parents would be proud of. Rocky got a whole new outlook on life even though there were a lot of ups and downs with not only him but his legal guardian. A must read!

Response from the author:

Thanks much. Always happy to hear from satisfied readers.

This was very moving story out of bad, good may come.  It has perfect dialog and very well written disruption with yes, a clear and well thought out story line. I am sure if you read this story, you will love it just as much as I.

Response from the author:

Thanks for the great review, Albert. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

This Lle Wilson story is a bit different and focuses on entering into a very new world for the protagonist, Manny. It’s a rollercoaster ride for him and us readers, as well!

as ever, with Lee, there is an edgy style that I for one, really enjoy.   So, dive in, sit next to Manny in the lawyer’s office and reflect if you would have said yes or no……

A great read.

Response from the author:

No worries about the stars.

@Lee Wilson's overall writing definitely improved compared to his previous stories: This story is more structured, has better timing and is less like a soap opera. I laughed, I cried—what more can you hope for in a story?

Response from the author:

Thanks for the kind words. Even more thanks for your help all the way through.

This awesome story is about Manny, Bass and Rocky.

How the three are connected and what adventures occur to bring them to together.

You need to read the story to discover more.

Response from the author:

Thanks Chris. I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again; it still amazes me how well my stories are liked.
