Through a series of ancient taoist rituals and modern artificial intelligence programming, Joey may still be able to give Jake something seemingly impossible, the promised Christmas wedding.

A delightful, funny and educational take on the theme.  I thoroughly enjoyed this romp thru culture, technology and love.  It is filled with small hidden gems cleverly hidden that will give you belly laughs or insights in traditions and beliefs.  A great read.  I was only wondering who gave the unconventional gift to Jake and Joey. A winning story with promise for further exploration by the author.

This is an excellent short story and I highly suggest it.  It starts out sounding like the opening lines from A Christmas Carol, complete with the death of a partner, but rather than being a partner in a counting house, this one is in an A-I endeavor.  From there the remaining partner has to deal with the death of his loved one and his lover's family, but he finds a suitable alternative.  It also negates their upcoming Christmas wedding, but he finds a way around that as well.  If you wish to find out how he does those things, you'll have to read this creative and very enchanting tale.
