I'm new here but I just wanted to comment to Dom's last blog. Mainly the 'ex'thing.

I usually don't say anything or do anything about Christmas cards. Only if I see the person soon after will I comment that I received the lovely card, but that's it. And I feel no guilt over that, no matter how much my Nana tries to lay it on.

Time really does heal sore wounds. Funny thing happened to me two weeks ago. I was leaving a diner, after our 'girls Sunday breakfast' and was stopped by a nice looking guy in his car. Seems he rememberd me from highschool. I sorda rememberd him and stood there flirting (and I wonder where my daughter gets it from) for 10 minutes before I went off home. After retelling of this meeting to my best friend, she turns and smacks me upside the head. Turns out this is a guy whom I dated back in highschool. The only guy to lay a violent hand on me. (That didn't get far since I was dropping him off at home, ordered him out of my car just before my friends bo, who has a black belt, came to escort him home. Sees they saw the whole thing from the car behind me.) How could I forget that he was such a jerk! I was so dissapointed in myself I couldn't stand it. I put a different school chums personality to him in error. Too many nights drinking I guess.

Well, that is my .5 cents story.
