Weekly Wrap Up!

Before we get started on this weeks weekly wrap up, I have a reminder and an announcement that I'd like to start out with.

Reminder: SonoLuminus has decided to participate in Light the Night, a walk to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She has dedicated her walk, and even named her team, in memory of Robert (aka Trebs) who passed away on August 7th after a long battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. To learn more about Light the Night and how you can help support SonoLuminus, please visit the lounge topic.

Announcement: Tomorrow (August 24th) is the August CSR Discussion on InTheMindOfSunshine's story "In The Depths of Despair". InTheMindOfSunshine will be available for a live chat, here on the blog, from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. Central Time to answer any questions that readers might have. If you can't make it during that time frame, please feel free to post your questions at any time throughout the day.

Now, let's see what happened this week in the Gay Authors News Blog!

There are many stories on Gay Authors, and for the start of Signature Week and our Monday Feature, Joann414 provided us with a review of "The Game" by Nephylim. If you like fantasy and drama, then this story might just be for you. Perhaps reading Jo Ann's review just might help you decide if this is one story that you need to add to your reading list.

Premium Tuesday's are a great way to find out what stories are hiding away in the Premium section of Gay Authors. This week we featured "Rising Star", the second story in the "Waiting for the Sign" series by Dkstories. If you've thought about purchasing a Premium Content subscription, checking out the Premium Tuesday posts are a great way to find out what stories you'll be gaining access to.

Interviews are a great way to continue Signature Week and this week was no exception. Cia provided us with a great interview that she did with Nephylim about her story "The Game", but she doesn't talk just about "The Game". If you want to find out what else Nephylim talks about, like her next projects, check out Wednesday's post.

We ended the week with two new prompts from the Prompt Guru, Comicfan. One of the prompts was a first line prompt, which can always prove to be interesting an the other has the tag "the toy". Did you have a favorite toy as a child? Do you remember everything about it? This prompt may just be for you, so check it out! There were no responses to last week's prompts, so this week I shared a prompt that Comicfan did this week in response to a previous prompt.

9 authors to 4 doesn't make for good odds, Sasha. But one good outcome is that the readers win-- A fair ending in my book.

Multiple entries are bad for street cred, good for readers.

I have 4 this week, my street cred is ruined.
