A testy situation part 2!

So we decided to go out and meet David's sister tonight. It only took us a few minutes to get to her apartment. David seemed anxious about it all and he nearly turned the car right back around. It pains me to see him in such a vulnerable place. But when we finally saw her he almost ran to her and gave her the biggest hug. I pulled Chaz and Selene away letting David and his sister have that moment alone.

We met her a few minutes later when he brought her over. She really seems like a genuine person and When she talked she had tears in her eyes. Apparently their mother and father had decided to wash their hands of her too when she told them about looking for David. Then we heard about Davids older brother who had just come out and living in New York City. Their eldest brother is still very much against them being Gay. They looked so much alike, like blond twins. She even has his smile.

Then She told us about how she and her brother had been looking for him for quite awhile. They had heard rumors that he was in New york and that is why their brother was living in New York. David was beeming when we left. they definitely have more to catch up on but a little step is good for now. He's talking to his brother on the phone right now. I am so happy for him. He really needs this right now. After What Rob did I want more than anything for him to be happy.

Oh by the way the waiter and David seem to have hit it off. I am happy on this front also.

Selene still doesnt trust the situation, my instincts is too trust Selene on stuff like this but something tells me that she might be wrong for the first time in her life. She seemed like she calmed down a little after she met David's sister so who knows where this is going.

Wow! I'm so glad it went well for David :2thumbs::D

It looks like he's made quite alot of progress toward restoring his family all in one night! I hope he and his NY brother or reunited soon as well :) ....hmmmm Blonde huh?:boy::P

It's also awesome that he and the waiter are hitting it off! Let's hope Selene is wrong on this one.

Please let us know what happens with them, and I'm hoping for much happiness and peace for them all:)

Take care,

Kevin

Chaz and Green,

Way wonderful news about David, his sister and his Gay brother.....hugs to all and fingers crossed. Its sweet and wonderful that they are now reunited......and you all were so supportive. Major hugs to all:)

I must have missed that David was starting to see a waiter....silly me. I better read your blog again.

What was Selene's concerns about the waiter? I must have missed that too..and I must have missed what Robert did to David.....

well, so far, seems as if I better catch up on your prior blogs.

Clueless in NJ here...LOL

I don't know if its the way you have portrayed her, or the really weird mood I've been in lately, but I don't think I like Selene very much (Selene if you're reading this - blame Green). I find her very overbearing and quite often self centered. I understand the whole 'protective' thing. But the kid sister was eleven, for cripes sake. She's just turned eighteen and is out from under her parents thumb and the first thing she does is try to contact her brother. I think that's great, and I admire the sisters determination to locate David. I wish the two of them good luck on establishing a relationship.

First off: YAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!! :2thumbs: I'm so glad that David is seeing some bright days right now. To begin with: the hot waiter. That's soo great that things are are working out between them! Tell them I wish them both the best of luck.

Now onto the more complicated portion of the blog. ;) My opinion (it's just my opinion) is that Selene just doesn't want David to be hurt anymore. I know I'm that way with some of my friends and definately some of my relatives. And yes, David's sister was only 11 when all hell broke loose, but we don't know the full story of what took place between those seven years. And further more, if the older (he was older correct?) brother is himself gay and (I'm assuming here) somewhat out, what stopped him from trying to contact David between now and then? I guess I would take the wary but supportive stance as well.

Either way that it turns out, I hope that David is able to come to terms with his past and family and I really really hope that everything turns out awsome. I've never been thrown out of my home nor have I had to witness any of my friends go through that, so there is no way that I can imagine the fear, lonliness, and terror that someone in that situation must feel. Again, I really hope everything goes great with his sister and brother and that's awsome that they might be able to become closer or at least maybe phone buddies or something. :) And please tell David, if he hasn't already done so, that he should write his parents and other brother a nice long letter imploring them to go bungee jumping w/o the dad-blasted rope!!!

Good Luck and Best Wishes To All!!!

p.s. glad you gave Chaz his bouncy ball back :sheep:
