Signature Feature: Headstall

It's Signature author feature time! This month we're taking a look at @Headstall! I'll share a few stories by Headstall, but feel free to share your favorite Headstall story in the comments. I'll only be sharing completed stories, so if it's a story that you've read, take a minute and go leave a review!

A proud father of four, Headstall's personal journey has been a series of twists and turns, and his stories often reflect his experiences.
He is an unapologetic romantic who writes from the heart. You will find this in his fiction and his poetry. They are both emotionally driven,
and men who aren’t afraid of their feelings often populate his work. If you’re looking for happily ever after, you will likely find it here.

@Headstall's stories make me feel good and smile. For me everything started with Cards on the Table. Since then he is one of my favorite authors.  :)

Thanks, Adi! You are one of my favorite authors too. :)

I love all Gary's stories, but his cowboy short story Finding Refuge is my favorite, apart from Morningstar.

Thanks, Tim! I appreciate you mentioning Finding Refuge. :D  You have been with me from the beginning, as my editor, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Thanks, Bucket! It was a heck of a journey for many of us, and I'll always be thankful for the experience of Morningstar Mondays.

Hmm, if I had to choose a favorite Headstall story I'm not certain I could. Morningstar was such an intriguing departure and yet classic Headstall. I think though that the one that started it all Cards on the Table is the one I enjoyed most. Perhaps because it was the first and we all, Gary and his readers, were learning to know one another. Some very special friendships resulted from that story.

That is so true, bro... some truly awesome friendships that have lasted. It was a very special time for me, certainly, as a rookie writer. I'm pleased it still resonates with you. And Morningstar: The Malaise was only possible because of all the things I learned while writing Cards. :)  Thanks, dugh.
