Hello and welcome to my first blog entry! Thanks Myr for fixing it..Chris's little brother has come to stay with us for a week or so.This is big news since his mum ( :devil: )hates me. I mean she REALLY hates me. Last night we stayed up untill like 1 am. I was on the puter chatting and they were playing the playstation. He's only 14 and is cool with our relationship. I wish he could pass some of that coolness onto his parents! Ive got him coming to work with me just now since Chris will be working nights all week and needs to sleep during the day. I asked him what he wanted to do, i.e work on the shop floor or do admin. He broke his arm a few weeks ago so he chose to sit in the back and play office boy. He's in the cash office and has the woman who work there wrapped around his little finger after only one day. He's got them making him tea and buying him cakes and biscuts... the boys got style!Anyhoo better go into work since ive lounged around all day and really need to make an apperance.I think im going to enjoy this blog thinghope you folks do too!Lots of loveDave xx

Your brother in law sounds like a very nice guy. As to your Mum in law..well, it has taken me years with my own family...(and good therapy sessions) to learn there are those who accept me and those that don't....Those that don't well its their issues and their stuff (the clean word inserted there) so whatever. Your Mum in law is missing out on the love and happiness you and Chris share. But a good thing is she sent her son to you...so she can't hate you that much and your bro in law will be going home with raves of how happy Chris is and how much fun he had. That will have a good effect..so don't give up yet...Mum in law may come around...

 

Tell your bro in law we all say you are the best (I am sure he knows that) Have a great week...I bet your bro in law charms everyone...and has fun in the process. It will be cool (yeah my favorite word) for you to get to know each other better....Enjoy and I look forward to your blog entries:)

 

My 15 yr old nephew reminds me of your bro in law...mellow and fun and just down to earth good guy...they don't seem to have issues with whom we love....a lesson the older generations could learn from!
