Ok, so it's officially December, and I'm super excited....in case you haven't looked at the content blocks to your right, I'm in the Christmas spirit. We're gonna go shopping tomorrow and I have my Christmas money already :) so it's just a matter of looking for the right thing to get each person on my list.

Well, I sent in chapter 21 of Bodega Bay the other night but it hasn't been posted yet, but there's a very good reason for that. I'm more than happy to wait for the chapter to go up while Rob gets married...I feel soooo excited for him. I hope him and Robin live happily ever after together and that someday, we can overcome the homophobia that poisons our society so that we can have legally recognized marriages here in the US. Well, either that, or they stop legally recognizing straight marriage as well.....either one will do for me :) Anyway, I'm kinda glad I have to wait for 21 to go up, because it's giving me the time I want to get a couple chapters ahead :pickaxe: The November winners of the Nickolas James Excellence Awards are listed, too, and the Second Annual Nickolas James Awards will be presented at the end of this month..the committee and the judges are in place, and now they're going through the list of the monthly winners to nominate the candidates for the yearly awards. :) I was pretty surprised at the response I got to my newest short story, The Christmas Letter. I know it didn't have a gay theme, but I don't think every story I write has to be gay themed....I guess in a way I didn't give it much consideration, but once it was finished, I was a little concerned that it might be an issue for some people. Luckily for me, though, it wasn't :ranger:

Well, I guess that's it for me.....everyone have a blessed weekend and an even more blessed Christmas Season

Just Kidding! I love what you've done with this page. So ... where's the Egg Nog?

 

I cannot, CANNOT believe you're going Christmas shopping already, and I certainly don't believe that Anthony's already done his. ;)

 

You don't know what you're missing: That gut wrenching last minute panic at 4pm on Christmas Eve. Hmm, seems to happen every year.

 

Have you finished 'Blizzard' yet?

I dig Christmas but Halloween is just too durned early to start with the decorations and muzak.

 

Retailers ruin Christmas music. By the time its Christmas, people are so sick of the cheezy Jingle bell rock and Adolph the Nazi reindeer they are ready to snap and go postal.

 

BTW- they are trying to get me to do Oh Holy Night or God Rest Yee Merry Gentlemen. Which one should I do?

Thanks Camy :) Actually, someone poured booze in the eggnog and I drank it all 0:)

and Oh yeah, I got mine done and sent in like 3 weeks ago :pickaxe:

No way....I wish we could have the decorations and music year round :)

 

Actually, the only CD we listen to with Christmas music is an old Ray Charles one we've had for as long as I can remember...I never get tired of it :)

 

That depends......are they going to play it on Awesomedude Radio???
