Sadly you are misguided Mark American Greeting Co. was founded in 1906 Hallmark was founded in 1910 Valentines Day was christened by Pope Gelasius in 495. Also there are valentines cards around from the 1850's But I will agree its just a grossly commercial way to remind people that the are in fact single. so thanks for the thread Tim 1 Link to comment
