I hope to see this film because it looks amusing so I intend to view it, according to the following link It has been delayed in the USA

http://uk.movies.yah...lip-morris.html

There is no official reason for the delay but I am guessing the gay storyline has something to do with it which isn't right, I can't see any other reason they would delay its release.

I love both actors and I think it will be popular.

Do you intend to go watch this film? ( if its released in the USA that is ) or have you watched it?

What do you think of it being delayed without any reason in the USA?

B)............. I probably won't see it, simply because I don't like Jim Carrey movies!

Not really surprising and not the first time. Probably won't be the last either.

Miramar never released "Edges Of The Lord" in the US.

The movie starred Haley Joel Osment and was about a 12-year-old Jewish boy who hides with a family of Catholic peasant farmers to escape the Nazis. It was released in 2001 in Poland.

His family tried to get it released in the US to no avail and from reports at the time, was never given a reason for it not being released.

"I Love You, Phillip Morris" looks to be a fun movie.

Speculation as to why it hasn't been release in the US would be an exercise in futility. And the entertainment industry wonders why their products are pirated. :)

A main stream actor like Jim Carey not having a movie released here? Hmm That's odd.

If the movie is being delayed it is because they don't want to spend the money to promote it because they aren't sure it can make money for whatever reason. It could be the political climate, Carey's popularity or lack of it, but you can be sure if the studio thought they could turn a profit with it, they'd release it.

Lots of movies never get released in the US or anyplace else. Pick a copy of Daily Variety on any Friday and look at the movies "currently in production", you'll never see half of them or more. Leo DiCaprio did a movie called "Don's Plum" with Tobey McGuire that never had a U.S. release.
