Nephylim Posted June 29, 2011 Author Posted June 29, 2011 So, it's Wednesday and I should be posting the last chapter of The Face In The Window, but I have already done that, so I thought that instead I would post the first chapter of the new story, which I hope you will like. It may not be obvious from the first chapter... in fact I'm sure that it won't, but this story is, in part, an attempt to convey my dark humour. I mean, where else would you find a werewolf called Rover and a were cat who can fly? My little cat likes warm fires and sheepskin rugs... who wouldn't and I hope you will take care of him for me.

Somehow, this story reminds me of another vampire story of yours, Nephy I could so totally see Glory wriggling on the rug in front of the fire and I love how his purring just happens without his controlling it. Nephylim Posted July 7, 2011 Author Posted July 7, 2011 I love Glory. A lot about him is completely instinctual and his one drive is comfort... well he has another drive but we'll come to that later. He is a cat after all. I don't think there is any comparison between this and Fallen, there's a lot less sex I think as we go along you'll see that because some of the character are... interesting. One of the things I was experimenting with in this story was introducing more characters. Most of my story tend to have two main central characters with others taking peripheral rolls. I did kind of break out of that mould with Fallen and I wanted to try a less...um... sex filled one. I mean this one has gone two whole chapters without there being anything more than a kiss Thanks for taking an interest and in liking Glory. I LOVE him. He's such a... pussy I had real fun with the scene in the bath too. Glory has a very straightforward view of the world. If it's warm and comfortable and/or tastes good he's happy BUT as a cat he's uneasy with water and he is hardwired with the belief that everyone is out to kill him. An uneasy mix.

They are providing your wonderfully bent/twisted mind an outlet-a chance to show a little more wackiness, if you will, ---not that you need any. (encouragement, that is)! Please don't get me wrong though. It is obvious already that the potential for violence is just barely under the surface. Meanwhile. I suppose I will content myself with patiently waiting for the other characters to 'expose' themselves. Good show, Nephy! Thanks!

I wanted to do something different but I didn't intend it to be quite THIS different Glory has got me by the throat and he wouldn't let go so I have 2 Glory stories so far and an outline for another so I really hope you get to love him as much as I do or you are going to get very bored with him 1

I have to tell you Nephy-this chapter (4) made me think quite a bit about your relationship with that other world. There is a quote in my notes that was so funny! " 'Oh my God I am going to tear out all my hair if it doesn't stop'." So now! Down to where Nephy is going to start playing with her characters. I'm wondering about 'Pixie', hmm? And the little helpless kitty---WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY, MATE??? HELPLESS? I'd like for a chance to rub his *aripa cas'! (and the lower one also). It's so much fun for me to see you having fun within your own story, Nephy. Hugs.
