For some reason I have the theme song for Duck Tales running around in my head! :lmao:

As some of you may know, only a few of my stories have topic threads in this forum. What I thought I'd do is invite you to comment here. If there's a lot of interest in a particular one, I'll go ahead and make a thread for it (or you're welcome to if you feel the need).

Here are some highlights:

A Snowball's Chance ... This tale takes place on Valentine's Day and includes some awesome dialogue (if I do say so myself). Not necessarily a "happy" story, but the characters take chances, and that's what life's about. Modern.

Birds of Paradise ... This was an experiment in using mpreg. Don't laugh. Seriously. I'll hurt you. I ran across this kink or genre or whathaveyou and thought, "This is too weird. How could I make it work?" I think I did a credible job and I like the characters (see some illustrations in my gallery). Anyway, I ran into writer's block with it and haven't been able to dig myself out, so there you have it. Fantasy.

Butterflies of Death ... I wrote this story as a gift for someone I knew. She had written a story about a unicorn who lived in a tree. The little drabble and picture she did captured my imagination. This is a story written about the unicorn as a 'baby' and how he came to be living in a tree. Fantasy & Children's.

Gravity ... This story came about from a penpal I had a crush on a few years ago. It made me think about how we can say/do things online that we never would IRL and what might happen if that online friend showed up in our life. The beginning is kind of slow, but I didn't want to cut it without also doing some editing/revising and that's not on my priority list right now. Modern.

Over the Precipice ... This story was written during a very difficult time in my life. It's rough and the POVs are all over the place, but I have a hard time looking at it, so I don't know when I'll get around to editing. There's no stereotypical happy ending to this one, so be wary. Modern.

The Phantom ... Hehe. This story still makes me chuckle. Ever wanted to pull a prank on someone? What if you had a secret super power? This is an alternate universe designed by a friend of mine. I saw a picture done to illustrate her characters and had that bite of inspiration. After checking with all the owners of the characters I wanted to use, I came up with this. The Phantom is my character, and he's enjoying the heck out of teasing one of the news reporters in the city of Necropolis. This city has superheroes and super villains. You'll have to decide for yourself which the Phantom is. Alternate Earth & Sci-Fi.

The Seventh Wing ... This is one of those stories that surprised me by its popularity. This is the first story I wrote specifically for M/M and it is fan-fiction of Anne McCaffrey's Pern series. I'd tried writing this story at least a dozen times since I was 13 and wrote this version in the space of about 2 months. For the first time since high school I got caught up by the writing bug and haven't looked back since. Sure, there's a lot of crap in here, but it's got dragons, and everybody likes dragons. LOL. Fan-fiction.

The Toll of the Troll ... Okay, this one's a bit on the weird side; I ain't lying. I also wrote this for a friend because the characters inspired me. Not my usual style of writing, but I got a kick out of doing something different. I meant for the story to be "over the top," so to speak. Fantasy.

When the Wall Fell ... Remember Necropolis? This story also takes place in that alternate universe, but some years prior to the events of The Phantom. This is the only story (as of now) that is written in 1st person. I personally find this the hardest POV to write from. I pissed some people off when I first posted this story on yGal! and I don't know why because they wouldn't tell me. Oddly enough, I kind of like it -- the story, I mean. Alternate Earth & Sci-Fi.
