Right. Well, I wasn't going literal. It's more about the anger and feeling backed into a corner so that you're lashing out. It's in the same emotional vien, and it's period. So, yeah.

Ah...okay.

One of the reviews mentioned that it was like both sides are "at the edge of the abyss". That made me think of "One Step Closer", even though yeah, it's another Linkin Park song... :P

I wanted to say that I always check in and see what songs methodwriter has selected to go with each chapter. They have just all been excellent this time around, not that there have been a whole slew of bad ones before but... Each just seems like each song that has been picked this time, really hits the right note in the story. I have got to were I come here and look up the songs and then go play them as I re-read the chapter; it has really enhanced my enjoyment of some of the chapters greatly.

This is something special and something that I don't think methodwriter gets enough credit for taking time to do and the great job he does in doing so...

Thanks. I was heavily influenced by shows like Quantum Leap and the Wonder Years, which had such amazing soundtracks. Cold Case as well, though to a lesser extent. It's such a shame that copyright laws have screwed over all three of them.

This scene right here...such a perfect blending of acting, imagery, and music:

OMG, I have not heard or even thought about " Runaway Train " in years... This really fit the mood of this chapter to perfection. I pulled up and watched a couple of vidoes of the band with this song... It was perfect...

Yeah. It's a sad but true that Boby Dylan covers tend to be better because most singers have better voices.

I am not sure what there was about this chapter. I did find it uplifting but sad at the same time. The lyrics that were running through my head the whole time during the last surfing scene when Will and Brad surf together was " A dragon lives forever but not so little boys. Painted wings and giant rings make way for other toys. One grey night it happened, Jackie paper came no more, and Puff the mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar. His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain, Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane. Without his life-long friend, Puff could not be brave, So Puff the might dragon sadly slipped into his cave." of course this is from Puff the Mighty Dragon by the Peter, Paul, and Mary... They were always one of my favorite groups...

Mine too. Jeremy doesn't like to reach back to the 60s for music though. He'd rather bitch about being stuck in 2000. ;-)

Well, except for Madonna, for me at least; the greatest music of all time can be found from 1955ish to 1973ish... I guess the first music I really remember was the early 1970's, I was born in 1966 but by the time I was in my early teens I had found the earlier era and really never found anything since as truly creative or good....

For me, the best era of music was from about 1988 to about 1996. I LOVED scoring A Summer Love and If It Fits.

I seriously wish I was Private Tim's age, so I could have been in college during the Grunge Era. That would have been sick.

Had never heard of that song, or don't remember it; I can't really be sure which. I was sort of thinking of " Let It Be " by the Beatles... 1988 to 1996 had some good music; Madonna, Micheal Jackson, Janet Jackson, Nirvanna, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bonnie Raitt, Radiohead, Alanais Morissette, Tracy Chapman, Bruce Springstein, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Metalica, Tina Turner, Melissa Ethridge, Cheryl Crow, Pink, Beastie Boys, k.d. lang, Lyle Lovett, and I guess many more... My problems is that for every really great artist in that ear; there were at least two really horrible success... I mean people that really had no talent but somehow actually became a star... I don't think that really occured in my favorite era...
