Just thought I would start a thread for anyone who wanted to discuss my shorts that have been inspired by writing prompts!

 

Prompt #31 ~

Write a rhopalic sentence of at least 10 words. That is to say, a sentence in which each word is one letter longer than the preceding word.

 

Technical Prompt ~

In three paragraphs, describe three different scenes that display anger, sadness, and happiness *without* using *any* dialogue. No quotation marks; action only.

 

Prompt #24 ~

Write a 26-word story where every word begins with a different letter of the alphabet.

 

Prompt #105 ~ First Line

“And just what the hell am I supposed to do with this?”

 

Prompt #106 ~ The Fight

Remember the last argument you got into? Change it into a story about two other people. The challenge is to tell the story from the other person’s point of view.

 

Prompt #107 ~ Inanimate Object

Everyone knows the old saying, “if these walls could talk.” Well imagine something that would be around someone for a while. Is it the blanket on the bed, a child’s beloved toy, or maybe the morning coffee mug? Bring that object to life and let it tell about the person it is always around.
