Summer at Last

You beat us by a couple degrees. We hit a high of a 103 today. And there were still people in the office complaining it was too cold and using their space heaters!

I had a thermomater top out at 98 yesterday. Currently, at 5:29 am est, sever thunderstorms are rolling thru the area. It's projected to 100 by 5 pm.

We rung in the first "official" day of summer with 101 degrees here in New Hampshire. Thank god for air conditioning. This northern boy is an absolute weakling in extreme heat.

 

Matt, I grew up in TX, and I can't stand it, either. Camp Mabry posted a high of 109 Wednesday.

OK. Today was the day. The highest temperature ever recorded in the Nashville area: 113°F

As much as we bemoan the hot temps, my heart goes out to the people and firefighters in Colorado dealing with the fires and the terrible destruction.

Yesterday was the first really hot day, 101 bleh, and last night we had a bad storm a lot of people around the dc area has no power.
