I'm so damned excited- November 22nd, 2013 can't come soon enough!

It really looks like they upped the production values of the film, as well as the design/costume values of the film. It looks consistent with the visuals of the first film, but with an enhanced flair. I love that we're getting more of the Districts rebelling instead of just getting the hints about them, and I love the political intrigue scenes with President Snow and Plutarch.

I  was a little disapointed that we didn't see Finnick O'Dair and Johanna Mason, but still...I cannot wait for this to come out!

Ohmygodthisjustmademeorgasm D: The trailer looks so good. Loved the first movie to bits -- kept slapping tables screaming "THIS IS... not mahogany" for like a month.

Ooohh Nice! That's just the first teaser trailer too, usually those aren't so good, but I liked it a lot.

Not a big fan of the Hunger Games series. I watched the first film and find it good, not exceptional but good.

The trailer looks really nice though. Will surely give it a try. Looking forward to the scene where Katniss reveals the mockingjay costume. :D

Cheers

I loved the books but wasn't a fan of the first movie. I won't pay to see this in theatre.

I like the series which is why I hated the trailer... It makes it appear Liam's character is the costar when in the books he is more of a minor character.  I can only guess they're trying to use the media blitz surround him and Miley Cyrus to bring in movie goers.  Poor Peeta always coming in second.

To be fair, Gale does have more of a role in Catching Fire than he did in Hunger Games. I'm impressed they kept the whipping in- I thought for sure that was going to be taken out.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll keep the scene of the Morphling drawing a flower with her blood on Peeta's cheek when she gets killed by the monkeys. That was such a good Peeta scene; it'd be a same to lose it.

The whipping scene was the turning point in Katnis' decision on whether to run or to stay and fight, so they needed to keep that one.

As for the spoiler - YES, me too. It was one of the rare extremely touching moments in the second book.

They are including the whip scene but I have  my doubts they will stick to the books as much with the third.  Shudder...

Yeah...

I think Prim will still die, but there's no way they're going to show little children getting bombed. I think the Sandy Hook fallout is going to require that Prim's death is going to have to be different.

Yeah...

Yeah, that just struck me when you said that (the spoiler part anyway). I doubt they will go that route now, it would be insensitive. They'll probably make it as unrealistic as possible. They may even take that part out completely, although I don't know how they would do it.

Because that is when Katnis decides to take out the District 13 President Coin. Also she figures that it's Gale's weapon, which is pivotal as well.

Here's a video I found of Sam Claflin, who will be playing Finnick O'Dair, at a Teen Vogue photoshoot this past March.

I pictured Armie Hammer as Finnick, but those dimples are winning me over for Finnick. I think while he doesn't have the Greek God looks, he's definitely got the charm.
