Trying to find a story

Well, like the topic says, I'm looking for a story I read here years ago but can't remember the name. I remember it was a fantasy tale (at least 2 books) about a class of elemental magicians, two of which fall in love with each other, and at the end one of them is missing after a series of trials.

That's not much information to go on. Can you tell us a few more details ?

 

Or you can go to the main Stories page and set the search criteria as Genre Fantasy and Tags magic. That will give you 48 x 5 stories to check, and one of them might be the right one.

You can also have it only show series. Here's the list with the Genre: Fantasy  Tag: Magic  and only series:

This only gives you 7 pages of stories. If you start at the end, and work your way back, you can look at the older stories first.  Though, I'm not sure it's showing all of them once I added the series part of the search
