Just got home from the second day at Brighton Pride. Got a break now until my hometown’s Pride at the end of the month.

Hey, Caz!  I've been recuperating, chilling with Cookie, doing my therapy, and even did some writing again yesterday and today. Chapter twelve is now at three thousand words. My shoulder is too sore to write any more today, but I'm happy.   How about you? Any new work on the horizon?

Although I'm reading reports of an enormous amount of litter having been left on the beach afterwards. Without wanting to sound like a killjoy, it's a real shame that people just won't take their litter home with them, or dispose of it sensibly...

And I'm aware that it's not just pride events where this can happen. Many big music festivals, such as Glastonbury, or The Electric Picnic which I expect to attend at the end of August in Ireland, finish up with just as much, if not more, rubbish left behind at the end of them.

My favorite charity is 4Ocean, so I hate the idea of litter on the beach, but I'm sure good people will get most of it cleared up... at least, I hope so....
