It is a good place to visit with kids.  Bangkok is a must for first time visitors for a few days, then a must miss after that.  There are several islands that cater to families and not just tourists.  Chiang Mai is a great spot for outdoor recreation and cultural history.  Let me know if you guys ever want more info.

Beautiful picture. Hard to believe St Helens was considered the Mt. Fuji of North America before the blast.  Portland was close enough to get the fallout for several months depending on wind direction.

I agree that Phuket is good, but I like the more laid back islands in the Gulf of Thailand. Just don't buy the "I ❤️ Phuket!!" T-shirts and expect to wear them back home. 😁 Also, it gets a lot of storms from May to August!

Weird weather is still happening but it looks like some rain tomorrow and definitely cooler over the next few days with some rain on the way. It is not a standard regular year this year that’s for sure.
