Hi Bucket and Albert!   Loved the penguins tapping Bucket.  I am back and trying to catch up with 2+ weeks of absence.  Daunting, but limiting my comments helps the process.  I have only made it thru 3 of the authors I follow today.  Wish me luck!

Hi Albert!   I am doing well.  The eyes are great and the doctor is very pleased at how the healing is progressing.  I have my next follow up check up the end of September.  Everything else is also doing well.  I have been missing you guys and am happy to be back. ❤️

I am well and happy.  The trip was very good and pleasant except for traveling 700 km each way.  That was a long trip for one day each way.  Aod's parents came back with us and stayed the week.  That was very fun.  He has great parents and his dad is a nonstop talker curious about everything.  We did a temple tour, lots of restaurants and coffee shops while they were here.  Two different friends treated us all to a lunch and dinner.  We also explored some fun small restaurants that served excellent Thai dishes.  Aod's mom is a picky eater and likes only Thai foods.  However, we were at a French restaurant that also serves Thai food.  She surprised us all by ordering Croque Madame, then told everyone how delicious it was.  Aod's 17 year old niece also ordered lunch there.  She gave us all a laugh when her lunch was delivered to the table. She had ordered two different ice cream desserts!  Kids!  We also went to a mala restaurant for dinner one night.  Mala is a kind of chilli pepper.  You pick out fresh veggies, meats and seafoods and give them to the cook to grill.  They are then skewered and grilled with the mala sprinkled on the top (dry), or skewered and grilled, then placed in a bowl and a mala spiced soup is poured over them in a bowl (wet).  We had the wet version and it was spicy hot but oh so good!  We were kept busy, and it was sad to send them home.  They did have a good time, so I am sure they will be back again.  That's how I spent the last two weeks.  Glad to be back online now.  I have miss all of you! ❤️

Thanks Albert!  Sometimes in-laws can be great.  Aod's parents definitely are good people.

Glad to have you back T You were missed and things were very quiet with Pagey busy being a dad dealing with back to school, Gary using his Sexy muscles, Spikey at work and Drew having no one interesting to nuke

Anyways that week sounds awesome. It's great you're getting along with your in-laws, especially being so far away from your own family

Operation Big Bad Cleaning starts tomorrow at great-aunt! There's lot of work to be done. I've already told her I'd be coming every afternoons for the next 10 days with the final objective to be able to walk around her bed and dining table 💪

We're doing well. Max is preparing for a new year at school (and ballet), Morgan should be home from work in a few minutes, and then we'll go to the grocery store after dinner. I'm making pancakes tonight.

You know that always sounds strange to me cause grocery stores closed between 7-8pm, the bigger one in the city at 9pm only on Fridays and Saturdays. So for me either you eat very very early or your shops closer very late! And on Sundays only one is open between 9 to 12.30

A little of both, actually.  We eat around 5:30 - 6:00, and the grocery store is one of those large supermarket chains which almost never closes.

5.30-6pm!!!  when I have a snack that's pretty much at that time! Of I'd eat so early I'd be hungry again at 10pm!

Hey, all!   I'm a mess, physically and mentally, but my three new family room windows are in. They are big and beautiful, but I now have room for a sectional under them. Before, the older windows went almost to the floor. 

It poured rain but my son and I didn't care. It made it not so hot as yesterday. Still a lot of finishing work to do, but the important part is done. Those windows sat in my garage since the summer I tore my shoulder apart. Hope you all are well... I need rest... lots of rest... still have to submit my third anthology submission, but my eyes are soooo tired.

Ho-oh great-aunt insists on me to cut her hair (from between her shoulder blades to over her shoulders). I've looks at YouTube videos all evening and I really don't feel it, it looks very complicated  it's going to be a carnage...
